If you are looking for a studio to have fun at but not necessarily grow into a dancer this is a great studio for that. The staff is all very friendly, helpful & great with kids. We were at the studio for a few seasons & when my daughter started to get older I realized she wasn't getting the technique training she should be getting, the multiple recital dances were a hot mess & more than once recital a year was not necessary. The price than doubled. I wasn't willing to pay for something that was more play dance than learning proper dance technique & for unnecessary things. UPDATE! I am not able to reply to you so I choose to edit my current review. I agree with “fostering imagination, utilizing props and teaching broad dance concepts” but for the seasons we were there my dancer never completely knew any of her recital dances & they were not broken down while teaching they were just danced & they would need to catch on. The balance between play and technique dance was not there. When my daughter was in preschool & at your studio at the same time, most of the stuff she did at preschool she did at your studio. I expected there to be a difference since preschool is not dance professionals. I have never been with a studio that had more than once recital a year & than to tell us with the new cost that we can opt out of recital but would still be charged was not appealing. & to charge the parents to go the recital after they paid for all other recital expenses was a little odd. Tuition cost prior to June 2023 for one class was $1903 a year, starting June 2023 for one class it was $2211. Your yearly tuition is on average 20% higher than the other studios in the area that have comparable offerings with more technical training. The current studio we are at your yearly tuition is 46% higher. Less

My 2 year old son started 3-D dance CAPP, their creative arts preschool program, this past fall and we love it. My son has learned more information through this program and knows way more information than his older brother and sister did at this age (they went to a different preschool program). My son also goes to a different preschool program on W/F and his teachers there ask where does he go on T/TH because he is more advanced than some of their other kids that are the same age or older. The class size ratio is low and you can tell more one on one time is being given and the teachers are all super friendly and invested in the kids learning. My son loves doing the dance and tumbling classes and always comes home super happy. They make school fun for him. There was a period for a month that he was a bit shy and would cry when I dropped him but he doesn’t cry anymore and even waves bye to me! My only wish is that they had a full week program! Less

We did a 45 minute trial run, just to see how he would do being separated from me. He was incredibly shy, but it was promising! Ms. Dena (studio manager) made it very easy to register and always sends out information in a timely manner. She always has a smile on her face (I can tell by her eyes since all staff wear masks!) and greets, not only myself and Alex, but his 2 year old sister as well. Ms. Megan, his teacher, has been a total blessing to Alex and our family. She has helped guide him out of his shell (baby steps!) and is extremely patient with him. After voicing my concerns with not being able to understand Alex (majority of his speech is gibberish, unless he is singing or giving key words), noticing he is playing next to children and not with children, and that he just doesn’t seem to care about socializing, Ms. Megan reached out to our local elementary school and was able to jump start our Speech Therapy evaluations. Something we didn’t realize we could do before Kindergarten! Like I said, total blessing! She is super sweet and I wouldn’t know what I would do without her on Tuesdays and Thursdays! Ms. Summer does tumbling and dance with Alex! She is quick to say hi to Melody (Alex’s sister) and it makes me want to get Melody involved in some programs with 3D Dance too! My favorite, above all, is Alex doesn’t get lost in the mix and in large class sizes. They know him personally and let me know how his day is going! Hello Google Readers! We want to share with you our experience with 3D-Dance. Dena has been the epitomy of genuine, customer-centered customer service. She has helped us manage payments from another city. She happened to be the person that greeted us at the entrance to the recital hall; and (with owner Michelle and teacher Miss Megan's help) allowed our daughter's class to do their dance a 2nd time on stage so she didn't miss her opportunity to be on stage for the full song with her class. Michelle is the owner. She's always had an open-door policy and is always kind and accommodating. She is behind-the-scenes. But do know she is working her gift of organization, scheduling, owning/managing this business even if you don't see her much. Miss Megan was my child's 1st teacher here and she made a positive, lasting impression on our 3yo to the point that now, our daughter says "Miss Megan taught me this," or "I miss being in Miss Megan's class." From the mouths of babes, the truth is spoken. She felt kindness and warmth from Miss Megan, and that speaks volumes to parents regarding our children and their relationships with their teachers. This studio has kept on top of COVID regulations. The staff all wears masks and keeps healthy distancing from the children. They have promptly addressed any concerns I personally had and took action. 👍🏾👍🏾 from me for that!!! We are in our 3rd class at 3D-Dance, and are excited to see what the future holds for our growing family there! Less

They say that one of their core values is "Family Matters" and I can tell you that is true! We have been here for 3 years now and this dance studio adds value to our family and we are able to balance our daughter's time at dance with other family activities and priorities. The studio communicates well and plans everything well in advance, which I rely on to keep my family schedule running smoothly. I want my kids to be balanced and healthy and engaged, and I want them to just be kids. What they are learning at 3-D Dance promotes these values. My daughter has made many meaningful relationships and how work together with peers toward a common goal. My child is gaining a quality dance education that provides the balance that our family need between work and play. I can see that the older dancers at the studio are focused and disciplined, but I also know that they are living healthy balanced lives outside of the studio, because that is what this studio culture promotes. As a dad who didn't grow up around dance, I have been pleasantly surprised to realize that at 3-D Dance, my son and daughter, ages 5 and 2.5, are growing in many ways as well as are thoroughly enjoying his classes. My son loves both dance and baseball, and I am excited that his dance education is teaching him some incredible fundamental skills that will apply to whatever his passion ends up being. My son has learned the value of hard work and preparation and there has been tremendous focus on goal setting within his class. At only 5 years old, he recognizes that in order to achieve his goals successfully, he needs to make a conscious effort to do so. The weekly growth mindset curriculum and Bloom cards that are used to help the students identify how their dance training applies to fundamental life skills, have helped our family intentionally discuss those topics as well. The 3-D Dance staff truly understands child development and how to infuse developmentally appropriate practices into their dance class curriculum. I would never have thought to talk to my 2.5 and 5 year old about the concept of integrity, however using the Bloom curriculum prompts, and the words of the 3-D Dance teachers, I am able to do so. I appreciate that the teachers share what they are teaching with the parents so that we can reinforce it at home. Even my 2.5 year old can recite her dance class goals of "Have Fun. Make Friends. Do my best." I think my key point is that I trust these professional dance educators with my children. Less

Each year I report back to Ms. Suzy of how amazed I was or point out all the amazing routines and HARD work each of her employees do. This year I can say is the best yet! I seriously had tears run down my face and the finale blew me away! The best part about what 3-D does is their community outreach program at the LEREC. They do not HAVE to do that but it is their director and teachers passion to allow any child the availability to dance on a schedule that may work best for their families. We have been involved with 3-D this year as a first year client and our family is extremely grateful for each teacher our daughter has had and the fact that they seek to help and reach out to the community is what made it easiest for us to choose them. Our daughter is encouraged with patience and a smile and a caring and loving heart each week by her teachers there at 3-D Dance. We highly recommend this dance studio to all who are willing to dip the toe into the beautiful world of dance! (Added after reading some hateful lies) Anyone who is a real client and actually attends this studio can give the real review rather than someone who posted on FB to have people go and blast this studio because an unfortunate conflict with a vacation conflicted the mandatory rehearsal that is stated in their policy. It’s sad all around. Especially sad to see the people actually listening to the direction they were given to go and be negative when THEY have not had a child in the program. We have, and can attest to the five star reviews given here are the accurate ones. Not the revenge negative reviews given because the family is upset. Personal story, my best friends daughter is in BOTH dances with our daughter and her husband surprised her with a trip ON THE DAY of the rehearsal. Even though it was a surprise it WAS mandatory that their daughter still come, so I subbed in for mom and dad and took their daughter. If she wasn’t there she could not be in the recital due to the many places it states in their policy that says the rules. They do not play favorites, even to a friend of the directors! My daughter has been to these before and loves them and always asks to go to more. She is about to do her second recital in a few weeks and watching her at rehearsal last week was really unbelievable. They could have just taken my money for those months and my son might have had an awful experience, but really do care for what's best for each individual child. My daughter is also in Creative Arts Preschool Program. I love that she gets to go to dance and tumbling, as well as learning about artists and crutial preschool learning targets. The Creative Arts Preschool Program is a great way to get her into dance, tumbling, and preschool while giving me a little break.  I love hearing them both recite their learning goals in the car "Have fun. Make friends. Do my best." Another thing that's important to me is that 3-D Dance is the only YPAD certified studio in Texas, which means that all staff undergoes rigorous annual training in the areas of protecting children from mature material and messages, developing positive body image, preventing injuries, developing healthy boundaries, and teaching children discernment and self esteem that will translate to life outside the studio. I know my child will be kept safe when it comes to costuming and music choices as well as who works in the classroom with them. The instructors are highly qualified and teach the whole child not just what they are working on in class at the moment. We could not be happier with our choice for our dance family. Less

We had been wanting to sign our daughter up her for a couple of years. We finally went for it this year. One of the things that helped us pull the trigger was the fact that their brochures said that they focus on building self-confidence. Our daughter can be slow to warm up around new people and situations so we thought this was the perfect place for her. Well some how, my email address was mysteriously unsubscribed from their list and I missed about 3-4 reminder emails about the "Mandatory Dress" rehearsal for their end of the year recital. My husband happened to log on to his personal email the day of the rehearsal and asked me if I had gotten any of the emails. I told him all I received was emails about tuition (which appear to come from the same email address as the regular studio emails which is how I never realized I missed any emails). We called the studio to find out what time and where we should bring her and got no answer. I should mention that my daughter had only missed one other practice the entire year which was when my mother, her grandmother was visiting from South America. Anyway, the next day we get a very short email from the studio director saying that our daughter was no longer allowed to participate in the recital that she worked so hard to be a part of all year. The director never asked if we were ok, if there was a family issue or anything. She just said, your daughter is not allowed to perform. I tried everything I could to reason with these people. I sent pics and videos of our daughter practicing in class all year to show that we were 100% invested. They took the time to go through each email that they sent over the year and said, "you opened this email and didn't open this one etc. and then you unsubscribed". I asked them why would I unsubscribe and continue to pay you each much and come to rehearsals? Obviously I DID NOT unsubscribe myself. That would make no sense!!!! This was my daughter's first experience at a dance studio at 8 years old. This was the place I trusted to help build self-confidence in my little girl and they kicked her out of the recital that she practiced for all year because I missed an email due to the fact that their system "unsubscribed" me. They claimed that I signed something at the beginning of the year stating that if we missed the dress rehearsal that she would be not allowed to perform. I've asked for proof of this document months ago and I've yet to receive it. I have my thoughts on why this establishment treated us this way, however I'll leave those thoughts to myself. I'll just end by saying this... think twice about enrolling your children here. I wish we would have. Less

3-D Dance is an awesome dance studio! The teachers are knowledgeable and really care about their students and dance families!

My niece, Bailey, is enrolled in 3D's "Princess Ballerina" class for the younger kiddos. She absolutely adores the class and has a wonderful time during her session. The staff is very good with these little ones, keeping them engaged in the process. (Which can be hard to do with 3 year olds.) Bailey looks forward to her class every week. Highly recommend.... They had a blowup tumble mat and obstacle course that was a super hit with the kiddos. The owner was on site to oversee all of the fun! We LOVED having our daughter's co-ed Superhero birthday party at 3-D Dance! The staff was extremely friendly, helped set up and accommodated us, above and beyond. They had a blowup tumble mat and obstacle course that was a super hit with the kiddos. The owner was on site to oversee all of the fun! We had a hip-hop beginners dance class with our own superhero dance, choreographed and taught especially for this party, including superhero capes. It was a great surprise. We had a separate room equipped with tables for cake, food and presents. I highly recommend 3D-Dance for classes and parties! My daughter left saying this was the BEST birthday party she has ever had. Thank you to all of the staff/owners at 3-D for making this the BEST and effortless birthday party! She has created a FAMILY not just teams that are award winning (although they are all award winning). From day one we felt like we'd been there for years, the staff and teachers are just as amazing, Suzy has assembled people who are passionate about dance and passionate about teaching young dancers. Seriously if your daughters or sons want to dance, this is the place to go! Sam was adamantly against changing schools, she felt like she had put in the time and work for the school she had been at for years, she auditioned every summer for their company, but I was told year after year that she just needed another year and maybe another class. I felt like they thought with her on the team they wouldn't win. It's about showmanship, performance, team mates, and dance with 3-D dance, she tells the girls while the win is fun and nice, it's not about that and they all take that to heart. It's about being performers and the minute Sam met Suzy she was in love, we left after Sam met her and had a tour of the studio and she couldn't get me to get her signed up fast enough. Seriously, I could go on and on about how much not only myself, but Sam loves this place and these people. We are already putting our heads together for her and her girls to get together over the summer because she doesn't want to miss them.
