I have a small area of my driveway that was concrete - over by the previous owners. They also had a retaining wall built. Being nearly 25 years old the concrete was very cracked and wall was very old looking. Ron Tridente who owns Modern Edge Construction and whose bid came in significantly lower bid than two other proposals has been exceptionally professional and easy to work with (as were his assistants) in having this entire concreted area excavated and completely redone. He skim coated the wall and made both look like new. He also repointed many areas of the brick, outside walls of my house. The pointing was done carefully, aligning with the brickwork and in a way that it blended in with the rest of the wall. All this work was finished in only a couple consecutive days and really looks beautiful. He also repaired the chimney that required removal of an old chimney cap and reinstallation of a new one. In addition, he removed and replaced many loose and damaged bricks and repointed several areas of the chimney. This was done within a day and the results were amazing. All work areas were nicely cleaned up afterwards. Ron is one of the most honest contractors I have worked with and does really great work, and for a reasonable price. If you are considering hiring someone to do the type of work I have described or any other masonry for that matter, I would highly recommend Ron Tridente and Modern Edge Construction. Less

We also had a deadline for the project which was met about a week and a half prior and gave us time to decorate the patio. They completed the patio (22 x 24) within 2 weeks, including landscaping, adding a built in fire pit and grill.
