When I decided that I wanted to reface my kitchen cabinets, I have to say that my experience with Let’s Face It was nothing less than a total pleasure. The only thing that could have possibly made at any better, was if they did the work for free. From the initial no pressure/informative consultation, the scheduling and updates leading to the installation of my kitchen cabinets, the professionalism and skill of the installer, the quality of the materials, and of course the final outcome of my project (It looked phenomenal)… I truly could not have imagined it going any better from start to finish. I had to reach out some time after the job was completed, to ask how I could go about temporarily removing a section of the trim I had installed along the bottom of my cabinets, as my microwave oven (that was installed before I had my cabinets done) had to be replaced, and the trim had to be removed to do so. I was hesitant to attempt it, so Let’s Face It sent someone out (at no cost), who showed me what had to be done, and then made it possible that when when the new microwave was installed, the installers easily removed the trim (if it the trim ever needs to be removed again, it will be simple to do).I have written a couple positive reviews, and unfortunately a few negative reviews, as relates to other businesses I have dealt with over the last several years. That said, I have to say this was one of the easiest reviews to write. In the world we live in, finding people that care about the work they do, care about the customer, and are reasonably priced is not something that is easy to come by. Let’s Face It beautifully elevated our old builder’s grade kitchen in 2018! In one week we went from our 1990 era oak cabinets, hardware, outdated laminate countertops and no backsplash to a high end, modern look complete with crown moldings and trim. They even created a custom cabinet for our small butler’s pantry area. We worked with LFI designer, Vince, who came to our home with samples and great advice on how to incorporate a new look kitchen into the rest of our personal home style. There was never any pressure to sign any contracts to work with LFI either. Our contractor, Sean, was the nicest guy, so personable and respectful of our home and each day he cleaned up everything before he left for the day. We were only without use of our kitchen the day the countertops were being installed. Sean was there to oversee the granite installation, do all the plumbing work and even jumped in to help out when our dishwasher was being installed. Ken laid our tile backsplash making some really good recommendations on creating the stack stone style we liked with the ceramic tile we had selected. We got a new look kitchen for half the price of the new kitchen quoted by another designer. Our expectations were exceeded by LFI with the transformation of our early 1990's kitchen to a contemporary style. We saved up for this project for many years and wanted every aspect of this project to meet our needs and align with our tastes. We ended up learning about design options and configuration ideas that we hadn't even considered. These changes took the project from what would have been okay to something special. The new cabinet style, wainscots, quartz counters, and stainless steel sink make our kitchen look like a page right out of a high style magazine. The whole process couldn't have been much easier. The in home consultation with Vince was convenient, thorough (we like to ask lots of questions), and helped us imagine how the options would work in our space. The installation was primarily with Sean and then Ken for tile work. We were able to have a functioning kitchen throughout the project. This was a big plus for us and helped mitigate some of the stress. We were put at ease by Sean when asking questions along the way, making sure that all of the details were being addressed. The job site was kept clean and organized each day. There was one point of constructive feedback regarding a materials scheduling delay. We understand that these things happen and had wished that the supporting communication was clearer, more direct, and more frequent (even if only to let us know that resolution was still in progress). We tried to address this and were never quite sure whether our expectations were understood (the focus seemed to be on us not understanding that delays can happen, versus the need for better supporting communication). Looking back, this was a relatively minor speed bump in the project and it as no impact on the resulting quality and great workmanship of our new kitchen. We are very happy with the results of this project and look forward to enjoying our kitchen for many years to come.
