We always go to Sharkey’s because my son, who had Autism and ADHD, has a hard time with haircuts. While the environment is loud, he is comforted by the video consoles that are familiar to him (don’t at me- parent your children how you want to parent them.) We LOVED Haley, however, she has moved to a different salon. Then we found BETHANY! Let me tell you she is universe-sent. She GETS kiddos with special needs, was so efficient, and also gave an amazing haircut for my wiggly-worm! We always do a Father-Son cut, and my parent came out looking super suave, too! So don’t this she can only do the kids- she’s mad talented for the adults as well. Everyone is great and friendly at Sharkey’s… but it’s Bethany for us!PS- if your kiddos are on the spectrum, they WILL need some quiet time after the haircut. I can be loud in there. However, it’s WORTH IT!

Picked this place for my son’s first haircut, he is 14 months old, and Maggie done a wonderful job! I was nervous on the way, thinking “ he’s not gunna let her cut it.” But he did, and She did! Makalia did an incredible job. Our one year old was freaking out and not wanting a hair cut but she started calm and still managed to do a great job despite me holding him and him trying to move around! I was so impressed!

Madison was so patient and understanding while my son was getting his haircut. He has severe sensory issues, and Madison went slow and talked out everything she was about to do with him. She even wiped his face anytime he had hair on his forehead or cheeks. My son sat still and was calm throughout his haircut. Can't say enough good things! It was amazing!

My son is full of joy and energy, and this was his very first haircut. As soon as we arrived, he lit up — the place was fun and the staff were so kind, so he cooperated perfectly. Saturday August 8th we had the pleasure of letting Ashley while she cut my son’s hair. This was his first hair cut ever and she was so patient with him, fast, and efficient. She did an amazing job and I will definitely be booking with her when it’s time to get a trim!
