BIG BIRTHDAY BASH ! First up BIG KUDOS to my wife for selecting Angelo's Brick Oven Pizzeria as the restaurant where we would celebrate her Mom's 90th birthday. IT WAS PERFECT ! My wife's elderly parents have resided in an assisted living facility in Wildomar for the past few years so it was a no-brainer to keep the celebrations close to them. On a very very hot day in Wildomar ( 102F ) my wife and I along with my wife's son arrived here around 11.30am. The main dining area of Angelo's was fully occupied with an engagement party. Our birthday celebration took place in the adjacent secondary dining room....more than large enough for our extended family group of 14. After meeting and greeting with family members as they arrived I headed to the barn to grab a beer. Ally the charming female bartender ran me through their craft beer list and I selected a Garage Brewing Co Mango Hefeweizen - abv 5.5%. It was a beer I hadn't tried before and it was a good choice. In the meantime I had a lovely chat with Angelo Catalano the very friendly owner who was in the process of cooking pizzas in the brick wood-fired oven. Most of the family members chose pizza with a few opting for pasta. The pizza menu featured some interesting names for the different pizzas...representing key events in Angelo's life. We chose a Meat Lovers Pizza called USA Here I Come - Angelo takes on California ( Tomato sauce, mozzarella, sopressata, sausage ). Neva the lead server did a fabulous job taking the lunch orders at our table. Eventually numerous varieties of wood-fired pizzas and pasta dishes were arriving constantly at our table. FUN ! Everyone was enjoying the food and having a wonderful time. Our meat lovers pizza tasted great. MORE BEER ! I headed back to Ally at the bar and ordered a MadeWest Hazy IPA - abv 7% which looked magnificent in a fat stem glass. It tasted great too. THE BIRTHDAY CAKE ! It was time to blow out the candles on the yummy Chocolate / Mint cake made by my wife for her Mom. DESSERT ! Not everyone wanted cake and a few of us ordered SPUMONI, CANNOLI or PANNA COTTA. They were all very good. It was almost 3pm when we decided to call it a day. WE HAD A GREAT TIME HERE !

Pizza is the obvious choice here, but digging a little deeper into the menu, the pappardelli with short ribs is the pinnacle of their menu, and don't overlook the meatballs.

2003 and 2017 are delicious. If you are local you should be going to Angelos.

Great experiencing this place for the first time! We had the linguini pesto and new york steak gorgonzola. They were both equally perfect. The sauce and flavors were amazing. We also had the homemade fresh cannoli and mousse which were pleasantly tasty. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. I’m bringing the whole family next time.
