The villa truly lives up to its name. The sense of peace and tranquility is almost surreal, and the surrounding landscape is absolutely breathtaking. The interior has been designed with impeccable taste, and honestly, nothing is missing. The kitchen is wonderfully functional for an enthusiastic home cook like myself, the bedrooms are spacious with excellent beds, air conditioning, and en-suite bathrooms, all finished in a modern hotel-chic style reminiscent of Piet Boon. Outside, there’s a large dining table, a beautiful swimming pool, and a gargantuan TV in the cosy living room for those relaxing evenings or kids hooking up their game consoles.We stayed as a family of four, and during the final week we welcomed a friend of the family. Even then, everyone still had their own luxurious bedroom. Fantastic.A few days before we left, the owner, Marc-Jan, stopped by with an electric plancha. We made grateful use of it, and it turned out to be a brilliant addition to the already exceptionally well-equipped kitchen. It was also a thoughtful idea, as barbecuing with charcoal or wood is prohibited during the summer months due to the high wildfire risk. More importantly, meeting Marc-Jan was an absolute pleasure. We ended up chatting for quite a while about all sorts of things, and it was genuinely one of those memorable serendipitous encounters. Wonderful.There are several excellent restaurants nearby, ranging from just a 7-minute drive to about 15–25 minutes away (see my review of Finca Elements as well). Within roughly 25 minutes you can reach the motorway towards either Málaga or Nerja. And honestly, those drives through the mountains are a joy in themselves. The scenery is spectacular. Don’t be surprised if you occasionally find yourself driving through a dry riverbed—although those routes can easily be avoided if you prefer. Even the roads closer to the motorway, especially towards Nerja, are stunning, taking you past a beautiful lake with magnificent views. For larger grocery shopping, Casabermeja is about a 25-minute drive away. All in all, the villa is perfectly situated and makes an ideal base for exploring the entire region.Now, almost a week after returning home, I close my eyes and I’m back at Villa Silencio for a moment. I can still picture every room as if I had just walked through it. Those images will stay with me forever. For two and a half weeks, this villa truly felt like home, and even now I find myself feeling unexpectedly homesick.That, perhaps, is the greatest compliment I can give but it is absolutely well deserved.Plenty of pictures available from fellow reviewers. Samen met vier vriendinnen verbleef ik begin oktober een lang weekend in Villa Silencio. De villa doet haar naam eer aan! Wat een heerlijke tijd hadden we hier, het ontbrak werkelijk aan niets. Alles wat je kan bedenken is standaard aanwezig. Het uitzicht is ieder moment van de dag anders en fenomenaal.We genoten ook van de dinerservice van El quinto sabor catering en de massages van Wellness Masage on Location. Deze samenwerkingen maakten het verblijf helemaal af! Dank voor alle goede zorgen 🙏🏻

Heerlijke villa. Praktisch ingericht en alle comfort aanwezig. Ook de ontvangst is top! We hebben genoten van de rust en de prachtige omgeving. Dit is een absolute aanrader!
