No crowns etc, so it felt a little disappointing to go in, get a filling and be done with it.So recently I chipped a tooth, went to visit my usual dentist and they said come back and we will place a filling, no surprise there...During the 2 week wait, I decided to look into other dentists to get a second opinion and maybe go the route of an implant.That's when I found Aesthetika, they were a short walk away from home, offered a free consultation (£25 deposit). This was simple to set up, their staff are SUPER QUICK at responding via emails and WhatsApp messages (I much prefer text/email over phone calls).I went in to see Dr George, my expectations of this consultation was unsure and was low, I was thinking we would just talk and I'd be on my way.But Dr George surprised me, he checked my teeth, he was concerned about the damage being done by the fillings, and he did a 3d scan of my mouth for free and gave me a list of ideas of what could be done, but we needed further investigation first.He asked if I'd like to be referred for a 3d x-ray at a set cost, and we went for that.I came back in and we spoke about the results of the x-ray, and he gave me suggestions but he would double check with another professional he knew to make sure there weren't any other options he could take.A couple weeks later I emailed in to get an update and was given quotes for this fix. It's quite an extensive list, bone grafting, implant etc.But due to Christmas is around the corner this will be booked in for next year.Currently I've had an appointment for a crown fitting yesterday (14/12/23) that went smoothly. Minor pain at one point but Dr George realised and gave me another numbing injection right away.I am back in to get the real crown placed next week.So far I am extremely happy with Dr George and his team's professionalism. Dr George made me feel super comfortable and welcomed, even with the state of my teeth he didn't make me feel bad in any way regarding them.He is more of a solution type of guy.UpdateI continued to have work done on my teeth with Dr George, and each time I've visited I've felt at ease and felt the support of his team, and knew i was in great hands. I was thrilled when he said we could do the bonding and about the results I could get. I have seen online the previous smile makeovers they did at Aesthetika Dental but did not imagine how mine would look. I had 8 teeth bonded and it was done during a single appointment. As I left after my bonding appointment, I did not fall in love straight away with my new teeth, as they were , well, NEW. Dr Chris told me I had a 2 weeks period before our final appointment, while I had the time to adjust to my new smile but also identify any changes I wished to make. At my second appointment I communicated that and he listened and at the end of the appointment I was delighted. I would't go back to my previous smile. My teeth are now straighter, smoother and whiter and got really good feedback from family and friends that are now interested in doing the same. Also , have to mention that the team at the reception is great, they are so welcoming and also very responsive. I really liked the extra care Dr George Triantafyllidis gave me: rechecking the size of the artificial tooth; matching the white colour to look natural with the other teeth; and making time to complete my treatment before Christmas when the first sample from the third-party lab needed changing. Throughout all of this the admin and reception team offered an efficient and caring service. The experience was a positive one from the outset; Lyne on reception was kind and helpful and on subsequent visits I have found all of the staff to be friendly and accommodating. Dr George advised that the work needed on my teeth was going to be a challenge and as a result he took time and consideration to plan out the Invisalign protocols which I really appreciated. We were both pleased and impressed with the results! Dr George's assistant was also wonderful and helped me to feel welcome and relaxed at each visit. The studio has also been so helpful in being flexible on times as I work in Central London full time.
