HML, and specifically Ethan, has been great to work with. They understand real estate and construction, and their underwriting is more than fair. I can finally scale with a financial partner, instead of using my capital…

We have owned and operated apartment buildings and single family residences in Northern Virginia for many years and HML has helped us finance/refinance properties in multiple situations. They are highly professional and courteous and have been reasonable with their rates and terms. I would recommend them for a DSCR or construction loan, or for any other financing that requires dexterity and finess.

As a well-established luxury home builder in the Texas Hill Country, we have engaged many lenders for different opportunities. I can say without a doubt that HML Investments has been professional, upfront, and overall the best to work with. Eric was extremely responsive throughout every step of the process, and we have appreciated all of his efforts. Johnny was very professional and offered great insight into the process as well. The company as a whole has been very good to work with; this is true from the review process to the loan approvals and all the way into the draw requests during construction. They make it simple so that we can keep doing what we do best: building homes. We are looking forward to continuing the relationship and building more big, beautiful homes with HML! Thank you guys!

As a builder in eastern tennessee that mostly builds rental cabins for STRs, I would say I have been beyond impressed with HML Investments and their construction loan and lending process.I've done more than a few loans for this and Alex and Maggie have come through on our loans with flying colors. Terms described were the terms they delivered. Paperwork was streamlined. And their timeline was on the money.Construction loans and the application process itself can be extremely frustrating depending on the lender. I've used close to 7 different ones over the last few years so I would know. And nobody is as cynical about some of the processes these lenders come up with as I am. But everything was straightforward and timely and just refreshing that someone actually delivered exactly what they said - especially when their terms were as strong as they were.So if you're looking for a new construction lender that has efficient processes and highly responsive people and you want a lender that has good terms and will deliver the terms they promise, you've found the right company.Feel free to contact me directly if you want more details on the loans they just did for me. It is like finding gold when you find a lender that is so efficient and has terms this solid. Do not hesitate to give Alex a call. ~Mike, Hallmann Developers LLC
