An unforgettable first ride for my daughter!I took my daughter to Riverside Riding Stables for her very first horse riding experience, and it was truly wonderful from start to finish. Our guide, Jessie, was absolutely amazing. She patiently showed us the proper way to ride, which instantly made my daughter feel comfortable and confident - even on her first time in the saddle. Jessie’s friendly, encouraging personality made the entire trip enjoyable for both of us. She also shared fascinating natural history about horses and the local wildlife along the way, turning the ride into an educational adventure as well as a fun one. I can’t recommend Riverside Riding Stables highly enough. We had a fantastic time and will definitely be returning!

The people that own and run the place are so kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. Whether experienced or new to riding they make the process fun and easy from hopping on to parking back in the stall. 10/10 recommend, definitely coming back with friends and family in tow.

Riverside Stables is a great place. This was my first time riding a horse. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The grounds were beautiful. I will definitely be going back to Riverside Stables.

My family and I absolutely enjoyed our time with Riverside Riding Stables!! The folks there are just good people!! The horses are beautiful and the trail ride was exactly what we needed!! Everyday life can be so hectic and stressful but there, I was able to find peace among the horses and nature!!

My family and I are in for spring break from Chicago and my daughter loves horses. I have road before but this was the fams first time. Riverside Riding Stables was absolutely wonderful! We chose the two hour River and Mountain tour. The guides made us feel relaxed, were very clear with instructions on how to handle the horses, and showed us a great time. My kids are 11 and 14. I recommend the two hour adventure with the river and mountain trail. It was not too long for the kids at all. We had two stops and one of the guides got off and took pics of all of us on our horses. Well worth the money!
