Ten months ago, I came to Lyssa at Athletic Lab after sustaining two completely separate and unrelated injuries that had left me at zero activity. Before that, I was running several days a week and practicing yoga regularly. By the time I met Lyssa, I felt discouraged and defeated after seeing four other providers with no real answers or progress.Lyssa was different from the start. She accurately diagnosed what was going on and created a clear, thoughtful plan for recovery. That plan included working with her in physical therapy, a realistic routine to follow at home, and a referral for a procedure that supported the work we were doing together at Athletic Lab.Beyond her clinical skill, Lyssa is warm, funny, easygoing, and incredibly smart and knowledgeable. She made the process feel manageable and hopeful when it had felt overwhelming for a long time.Today, I am fully back on my feet. I recently completed a half marathon, have returned to yoga, and at her suggestion added Pilates, which has made a meaningful difference in my overall health.
