I had no idea what I was in for when I decided to sign up for the Principals of Home Inspection Course at Southern Maryland University.Wow! I couldn’t have asked for a better instructor for my home inspection certification course than Mr. Ditanyan Sye. From day one, Mr. Sye was knowledgeable, focused, patient, personable and genuinely invested in making sure every student understood both the theory and the real-world application of the home inspection.Mr. Sye took the necessary time to explained complex concepts and answer questions in a way that was easy to understand and always tied every lessons back to what we’ll actually see during real home inspections.What really impressed me was his willingness to answer questions and share his real-life experiences that went well beyond the textbook and slide-deck.It was easy to see that Mr. Sye honestly cared about setting us up for success, not just passing the course, but preparing us for the state certification exam and becoming competent, confident and successful home inspectors.The Principles of Home Inspection book contained 17 units and 1080 pages and several of the PowerPoint presentations contained over 400 slides, but Mr. Sye made the class engaging, and practical and I finished the course feeling prepared, motivated, and confident in my ability to pass my certification exam.I wholeheartedly recommend Mr. Ditanyan Sye to anyone considering the home inspection course or anyone needing assistance with passing their certification exam.Mr. Sye set the bar high at the beginning of the class and delivered 100%.Thank you Sir!!!Charles A McLeod

My experience going through Ditanyan class, was very helpful, informative and of great value. I feel that I gained a great deal of knowledge for a home inspector. After going through the class I feel the class should be taught longer, because there's a lot of information, but Ditanyan done a awesome job with the limited time, and he also gave extra materials and insights for the trade, than what the actual textbook gives.
