I initially met Dr. Yu in 2016 after a friend of mine had her surgery with him. I had failed weight loss attempts for many years and Dr. Yu was very knowledgeable about the why’s behind it. I had the sleeve gastrectomy on 7/26/2016 and lost a lot of weight! Unfortunately I developed reflux and some unhealthy eating habits during COVID. I talked to Dr. Yu and he recommended a revision. He assured me that no matter what I did with regard to changing my eating habits the reflux would continue. I was made aware of this possible side effect from the sleeve when I had it. I had my revision on 7/10/23 and Dr. Yu has been wonderful. I have had a lot of questions and he has answered everyone of them without frustration. I highly recommend the TLC practice as a whole. They also have a wonderful nutritionist that has educated me as well. Less

I am two weeks out from my surgery date and I just wanted to express how amazing this process has been so far. Dr. Mehta is wonderful. From the first moment I met him he was very informative. He had a great bedside manner, he was kind, passionate, knowledgeable and very helpful. I’ve had a consultation with another doctor from a well known practice and I did not feel comfortable at all. I’m glad I chose TLC surgery and Dr Mehta. I have confidence in him and his abilities. The staff is amazing and I’m very excited to have my life change for the better.
