I had never expected strength training to become another hobby of mine!I've been lucky to be trained by a number of Mighty's brilliant PTs, but my current trainer, Nuri, has been paramount in helping me to achieve a major sporting milestone: Qualifying for the GB Premier Dragon Boat Team.When I told Nuri I was contemplating trialling for the GB squad, he was immediately supportive and excited to help me prepare, completely tailoring my workouts to meet the gym assessment that would be part of the selection process. 8 weeks ago I was at the heaviest I have ever been, getting out of breath walking up the stairs to the office and mentally struggling to motivate myself with normal daily tasks. This weekend I have just completed the National Three Peaks challenge, climbing the 3 highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales and enjoyed the whole experience. The Mighty 100 has set me on a path to regain my health... More

The Mighty One Hundred is such a great place for people like me that might not be the best at consistency. Everybody is so welcoming and friendly, from the personal trainers to the other gym goers, which makes you want to come back week after week. It’s so much nicer having people think for me so all I have to do is turn up and do what I’m told. It helps that all the instructors are really nice. There’s no barking at you like that weird coach in The Simpson’s that yells “bombardment” while throwing... More

It’s so much nicer having people think for me so all I have to do is turn up and do what I’m told. It helps that all the instructors are really nice. There’s no barking at you like that weird coach in The Simpson’s that yells “bombardment” while throwing stuff at you. They help when you need and always big you up after with a friendly fist bump. Also helps that everyone working out is friendly. It’s genuinely the most friendly place I’ve ever exercised, even compared to playing team sports. Oh and doing what I’ve been told so far is working.
