I found this place on a whim and what a great find. Only thing I can say that may detract from this place Is the wait time. This place is BUSY. Granted I was here on a Saturday, but there were a lot of people; some from the trades, some families, others were just individuals that showed up for amazing food. All the different things I could want were all in one place. Fresh poke, sashimi, okazuya, plate lunches, sushi, Hawaiian food, etc.Service there was fast. For me it was a little long because my eyes kept seeing things my stomach wanted to eat and I kept adding and adding to my order. I apologize for taking so darn long.Honestly, this is going to be a common stop for me on a regular basis whenever I'm here in Honolulu. It should be for you as well!

I've already been here three times during my trip, and I still want to come back and try everything on the menu!I recommend grab the order and have it at the Ho’omaluhia Botanical Garden 👌🏼Finally, the service was very kind. I had a great experience at Mass and Joyce and it is officially on my repeat list. Ordering was easy and the staff were friendly and welcoming right from the start. Parking was simple which already puts it ahead of the game before you even walk in.We ordered a solid spread including chicken musubi spam musubi a spicy tuna hand roll a California hand roll and two loco moco plates. Everything was packed with flavor and tasted fresh and satisfying. The loco moco especially hit the spot with rich savory comfort food vibes that made you want to slow down and enjoy every bite.For all of that food the total came out to about $55 which felt like a great value for both quality and portion size. They also have a good variety of drink options so it is easy to pair your meal with something refreshing.Another big plus is that you can order ahead for pickup which makes this an easy win for busy days when you still want something delicious. Mass and Joyce delivers great food friendly service and zero hassle which is exactly what you hope for in a local favorite.
