We engaged Jack and his team in January with the expectation of working with experienced marketing professionals who could generate measurable results. After nearly five months, we terminated the engagement due to poor execution, lack of accountability, and zero results.Jack presents himself well initially, but our experience was that the entire operation was highly reactive instead of strategic or proactive. Almost every meaningful change only happened after we raised concerns repeatedly. We constantly had to step in, identify issues ourselves, and push for corrective action.Communication and scheduling were equally frustrating. Frequent travel resulted in disorganized meetings, inconsistent follow-ups, and an overall lack of structure. It often felt like there was no clear direction or ownership of the campaigns.Most importantly, after running two campaigns for months, not a single solid lead was generated. For a company positioning itself as a marketing expert, failing to deliver even one qualified lead over that period is unacceptable.The landing pages provided were extremely underwhelming and lacked the quality or professionalism we expected. We also discovered that much of the work was outsourced outside North America, which raised serious concerns about quality control and explained a lot about the disconnect in execution.What disappointed us most was the lack of accountability. When we raised concerns and proposed a more balanced partnership approach, where risk and responsibility would be shared until results improved, the response was simply: “I’ll ask my team to stop everything.”That response alone told us everything we needed to know about how this company operates.For anyone considering working with them:- Proceed with extreme caution.- Verify claims carefully instead of relying on sales conversations or reviews.- Stay deeply involved in every aspect of the campaign.- Do not assume they will proactively communicate problems or performance issues.- Do not confuse optimism with actual results.We invested significant time, patience, and money into this engagement and received virtually nothing in return. I worked with Jack Ogus for approximately two months for marketing services, and unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing.Communication and availability were major concerns. Jack was often difficult to reach, and when calls were scheduled, they felt rushed and unproductive. On multiple occasions, we received emails stating he was out of town and unavailable to respond for extended periods.During the engagement, we also experienced an issue where inquiries appeared to be misdirected. We received repeated calls intended for a different business. When we clarified that we were a different accounting firm, the potential clients were confused and chose not to proceed. This raised concerns about how leads were being managed.Another major concern was that our business phone number was not used in the marketing setup. Instead, their own phone number was placed as the contact number. We were uncomfortable with this, as it created further confusion, reduced transparency, and did not reflect our business branding or allow potential clients to save our number and contact us directly in the future if they wished to do so.We were also pressured to purchase Google Ads through him rather than directly through Google, even though we had received a strong promotional offer from Google itself. This was uncomfortable, as we preferred direct control over our advertising account, transparency in spending, and the ability to use promotions available to our business.Despite a significant investment over the two-month period, we did not see any measurable results—no increase in leads or business growth. When this was raised, we were told that a minimum of six months was required to begin seeing results, which was also not guaranteed.It felt less like an investment in growing our business and more like we were providing funds that primarily benefited his own interests rather than delivering clear value or results for ours.Overall, there was a lack of transparency regarding the work being done, limited availability, and insufficient clarity throughout the process. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend these services.
