Honestly, from all of the reviews that are here. The reason they have a five-star is because they are friends with the instructor. The first class is FREE, but once you're locked in for a year, then it is a different story. My son is overweight, and he tried it for a few classes, but he couldn't get right doing the flipped. So he got frustrated and didn't want to do it anymore, He stopped going, and I continued paying the monthly fee of $180 besides the $200 for uniform and entry fee for the whole year of a total $2340. My year was up, but they need a "written notification " of cancelation within 30 days after the year is up. My wife told me to cancel the card from the beginning, but I like an honest person, I say no because it's a contract. So now I'm being charged $410 for fees and 2 more months because I didn't cancel it correctly, Now the whole point of martial art is that a sense must care about the students not care about money. I gave them over $2,400 of my money because I was honest or stupid ?! If anybody plans to sign up for this, make sure that your son can do a flip on his own and read all the cancelation comments. Also, don't forget the 30-day notice. Otherwise, they'll keep charging you.

Excellent place. My son was too tall for the kids class and was included into the teens/adult group and they made him fit right in. The instructors are informative and thorough when teaching.

I dropped in for a week and a day. Great experience at Gracie Barra Homestead. There I was met with open arms and treated like family. The professor was a gentleman, professional, and an outstanding ability to teach. Each time I trained the hour felt like it was 5 minutes. From start to finish you will work, learn, be pushed to your limits, and ultimately have an exhilarating experience. My wife and son trained as well. Amazing School for all ages. My son is taking classes and I started with him as well to keep him inspired. I am competing at 44 years old. I cannot believe it. Excellent class routine where you will learn a new grappling technique every day, roll, stretch, do a specific exercise and gain much more than you expected.
