I joined BBF at the end October as other classes just didnโ€™t seem to work for me. I wanted to tone up and lose some weight. I have also tried slimming world and weight watchers but always seem to plateau. When I joined BBF I was apprehensive but I really enjoy the classes, love the fact itโ€™s just ladies - of different age groups and sizes and no competition! Everyone is so friendly and for the first time ever i actually look forward to the classes and am really motivated! I have so far lost 8 pounds, dropped below my plateau weight (yay!) and dropped a dress size. I am definitely on my journey now and feel so much support from the coaches and other ladies. I am very happy as part of this group and am looking forward to seeing how far I can go. Less

I joined BBF early January on the 6 week challenge as I have not been seeing any results attending the gym. For me personally I am better in a class rather than the gym environment. The classes are great, everyone was so welcoming and I have never felt like a new addition. I can now see changes in my body shape and this is making me feel so much better about myself. ๐Ÿ˜Š Less

My old gym where I used to live closed when lockdown happened, and never opened up again. Then I moved to the Wirral with my hubby, and in all that time I never found a gym I felt as comfortable as I did at the old one. I found BBF and not looked back. I'm not counting pounds, but have gone down 2 dress sizes. I still have a way to go, and will get my muscle mass back again. The coaching is amazing and really helpful and encouraging. They cater for everyone, and if you have any issues where you can't do the exercise, the trainers will give you something that you can do. There's no body shaming and you can go at the pace you can do. The ladies at the classes are lovely and welcoming, and more importantly everyone makes it fun. I look forward to the sessions, and they also have other events that we can take part in, at our own pace. There is a wealth of friendship and encouragement, everyone gets on, and there's no posing or egos. We're different ages, body shapes, and all in the same place. I wish I known of Better Body Fitness & Nutrition when I moved to the Wirral, I'd have been here for the last 18 months. No regrets, just happy to be somewhere I'm getting fitter, healthier, and my mental health is better. I don't feel as sluggish or low as I did before. I'm eating better with the nutritional advice, and not looking back. If you want to lose weight and be with like minded women, give us a try. ***EDIT *** I'm still there, doing the 6 weeks challenge. I didn't think I couldn't do a squat hold for 10 minutes, or a push up hold for 2 minutes, even on a radiator. I'm challenging myself, and being encouraged by the ladies there. The feeling is so positive and encouraging. @MarkJames and the other trainers, Sue and Matt aren't just brilliant, they're amazing!! Less

I joined bbf 4 nearly 5 weeks ago and have been made so welcome by the trainers and ladies at the various classes. This has helped my confidence no end. I need help in various ways and am not the type of person who asks! I haven't had to ask it's been offered so am loving feeling better in myself. I'm very pleased that my shape is changing already and the hard work is paying off. After a few hard years I am feeling positive and will keep pushing. Thanks to all it means more than you know.. Do it for you, you won't be disappointed. Less

After years of looking after other people in my life I finally decided after reaching 60 I needed to look after my own health and wellbeing. I joined the 6 week programme after seeing it promoted on Facebook, I have just completed week 4 and already noticing a difference, I have lost weight and cm's, I feel more energised and more confident and the added bonus is that my husband has also lost weight as we are eating the same meals and the dog is happy with his extra walks ๐Ÿ˜‚ The classes are fun and I don't feel out of place, I never thought I would be putting boxing gloves on when I reached 60! I have now signed up as a member and would recommend the programme to others thinking of joining ๐Ÿ‘ Less

I have been at BBF for nearly 3 years now since posting the review below. That is the longest that i have ever committed to any fithess regime. That is a reflection of how enjoyable the sessions are and how supportive the group is. I noticed the advert for BBF on Facebook but kept putting off getting in contact. I know how scary that first step can be and how easy it is to talk yourself out of it. ๐Ÿ˜Š I am, however, so glad I got in touch. Soon after sending my enquiry Mark gave me a ring where we discussed what it was I was looking to achieve and how the group could help me reach those goals. I have tried everything - the gym, running groups, exercise dvd's etc - but i soon lose motivation and end up back where i started. This is were this group is different. It focuses on your diet and nutrition as well as your fitness. You will be exercising with women of all ages, all sizes, and all different fitness levels. The sessions are varied and challenging but always fun. Joining BBF is like joining a community who encourage and support you every step of the way. I am in week 4 of the 6 week transformation challenge and have already seen improvements and an increase in my energy levels. I am enjoying what i am doing so much that i have already signed up to become a member so i can continue making positive changes in 2022. ๐Ÿ˜ Less

Over the years Iโ€™ve done WW, Slimming World, Atkins, you name it Iโ€™ve done it! Lost the weight but always put back on and then some ๐Ÿ™ˆ I saw BBF on Facebook, when I was in a sad place after Achilles injury. Mark was brilliant at planning what I could do, adapting exercises but pushing me as well. I never thought Iโ€™d see 5.30am again now my daughter is growing up but Iโ€™m there with bells on for class! I lost over half a stone and over 40cm in 6 weeks (12cm off waist!) and feel so much better. The physio has just signed me off to running again and I credit my extra strength to the BBF sessions ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿป The best thing I have done in a long while! ๐Ÿ˜ƒ Less
