Huge shout out to Couch Travis Dohrn! Chase was going through a dark time about 4 months ago, lost, no self confidence, struggling in school, learned he could throw hands by sticking up for him self to bullies but then unfortunately thought his hands is could get him through his tough times. It was heartbreaking to watch and unfold! I knew I needed to help him find his passion to drive him in a positive direction and learn respect for his hands to only use them as a sport, an art, and self defense. Within 2 months in Couch Travis Dohrn class, Chase has made a complete 360 in his attitude, his confidence, his heart. Thank you Travis for turning the light back on in Chase, he now glows like a shining star!

DC Family has been a huge impact in my daughters life. Coach Travis has brought her out of her shell and she has shown so much more confidence in life itself. This is the third Muay Thai gym I've trained in and honestly this is probably my favorite. The environment and the people are nice. I get a great workout that leaves me accomplished. I highly recommend checking it out.

I can't say enough good things about DC Muay Thai and Coach Travis! My 6-year-old daughter has been taking classes here, and she absolutely loves it. Coach Travis is fantastic with kids—his patience and enthusiasm create such a positive environment. Every Thursday, she looks forward to her class. Not only is she having fun, but she’s also gaining confidence and learning how to defend herself. It’s been a wonderful experience for her, and I highly recommend this place to any parent looking for a great martial arts program for their child!
