My wife Betty and I are very impressed with the work done at Augustus Fine Jewelers in SW Ocala. We went in to have my gold wedding ring enlarged so it would fit perfectly on my finger. I’ve had my ring for twenty eight years. Recently because of some arthritis in my finger, I needed the work done to still be able to wear my ring. I picked up my wedding ring today. The new gold fit right in with the original gold in it. Augustus did a fabulous job enlarging my ring! Augustus, Jennifer and Taylor were all so friendly and helpful. We highly recommend them to everyone. They have beautiful jewelry there to buy. I already have one piece of jewelry in mind to give to my wife for her birthday in the near future.

Amazing everything!Number one, when you walk in you feel comfortable immediately, the welcome in is a genuine welcome from all of the Augusta’s team.I brought a few heirloom items in, one of the piece was too be reimagined. My request to them was I want to wear it everyday. I let them know I work out side everyday in the garden and at our family’s farm.They explain in great detail all the different alloys and which one would best fit my needs.They treated each family heirloom with absolute care and respect. I will admit I cried when I saw it. It has been many years I have been wanting to do this. The craftsmanship is flawless. It feels amazing to wear a piece of my mother’s history every day in a brand-new way. Highly recommend

I live in Texas and this is my mom’s jeweler, my emerald claddagh wedding ring needed some love. I had a few jewelers in my area service it, but the prongs still snagged on everything and no one could seem to clean the ring. My mom got fed up with my complaining and requested that I send the ring to her so she could bring it to her jeweler. They did an amazing job. The ring looks almost brand new I can’t thank you enough, these folksy did a great job.

I brought my wedding band in to be resized and soldered, and the experience was perfect from start to finish. The jeweler treated my ring with real care, explained every step, and the final result is flawless. The fit is comfortable, the soldering is seamless, and my band looks brand new. Tucked back on 60th off of 200, Augustus Jewelers is as refined and unpretentious as their location. I arrived on a day that was very busy. All the staff were helping others and as I was looking for a chair, I am greeted by the owner, Augustus Porter, Master Jeweler/ Designer. I had a simple request, I needed a new battery for my watch. Augustus, picked up a leather tray and gently placed my watch into it. I had another watch whose clasp had broken and he examined it before taking both back to their on-site work room.As I waited, Augustus returned and we chatted as my watches were being attended to.Surrounded by beautifully designed original diamonds and precious gems, I felt welcomed, comfortable and confident that finding this jeweler was a rare find, indeed.The repairs were beyond reasonable and they went above and beyond, cleaning both watches as part of their service.I highly recommend anyone in Ocala, in need of a jeweler to make their way to Augustus Fine Jewerly.
