I do not even know where to begin, because “impressed” does not begin to cover it. I have always been hesitant about cold therapy of any kind. Cold plunges and cryotherapy never appealed to me. That hesitation disappeared out of necessity after I severely injured my back. The pain was unlike anything I have experienced. Despite having a very high pain tolerance, I was unable to get in or out of bed without assistance for more than two weeks. At that point, my friend Bridget encouraged me to come in, and I am incredibly grateful that I listened. From my very first visit, the experience at Fire & Ice was truly transformational. I followed a thoughtfully designed recovery protocol that included red light therapy, cryotherapy, and hip compression. The results were remarkable. The day after my first visit, my pain had improved by roughly seventy percent. After returning the following week and repeating the same protocol, the remaining pain disappeared entirely. What surprised me just as much as the physical relief was the effect on my nervous system. My body felt calm, relaxed, and reset.
