Marlene H. Is quite literally heaven sent. My 2.5 year old went in screaming and crying and he left with all smiles, balloons, lollipop, and toys. This was the best haircut he’s ever had. He still refused to wear the cape and wanted to sit on me but hey it worked so I didn’t mind. She was quick and precise. She made him feel comfortable and got some laughs and smiles out of him through his initial tears. He barely even noticed the clippers. I’ll never go anywhere else. I’ll keep bringing him to Marlene to get him more familiar with haircuts for sure.

New review: Years later and he’s a big boy who loves the video game side of the salon! Compared to other places it is worth the price for the service and atmosphere! We’ve been to this location the most because the service and cuts are the best!Old review: We’ve been to this location three times now. It’s a little pricey for a haircut but it’s worth it to me since my little boy is no longer terrified of haircuts. We tried sports clips before coming to Sharkey's and he would scream cry. Now it’s all smiles and a handsome boy! They are great with kids and there is no "hold them down" mentality. Love the nice ladies at this location. If you tell him these days that he's getting a haircut at Sharkey's he is EXCITED to go.
