My partner and I did the 7 session package with Bagus during our stay in Lombok. We had an incredible experience surfing with Aqila. The boards were good quality and they have a good selection of sizes to suit all surfers. Aqila quickly understood our levels and then always took us to spots that were best for our abilities as well as the forecast. He also made sure to take us to lots of different spots along the coast, so that we could experience different places. Aqila’s guidance and support in the water was so useful and always made sure we were in the right position for catching loads of waves! He helped me go from being a nervous low-intermediate to a much more confident intermediate surfer!! We are sad to be leaving Lombok, but will return in a couple of months for more surfing. Would highly recommend this surf school to anyone wanting to have the best surf experience in Lombok!

bagus aqila is the best in lombok! I’ve tried many instructors and yet I believed I picked the most trustworthy one, who’s not only professional but also reliable and honest businessman. You will be in good hands trust me. He is chill but also pay attention to details. Serious about teaching. Very helpful in improving your skills and also understanding the waves and your surf board. Most important, he picks the best surf spot everyday! Never miss !

Ich hatte eine unglaublich tolle Zeit bei der Bagus Surfschool! 🏄🏼‍♀️✨Nicht nur das Surfen selbst war ein Highlight – auch all die Stunden abseits der Wellen mit einem gemeinsamen BBQ, Feiern, Angeln oder gemeinsam Palmwein trinken am Strand – jede einzelne Aktivität war voller Spaß, Herzlichkeit und guter Energie.Ein riesiges Dankeschön an Aquila, Henry und das gesamte Bagus-Team. Ihr habt mich von Anfang an so warm aufgenommen und meinen Urlaub wirklich einzigartig gemacht. Euer Humor und eure Gastfreundschaft sind einfach unschlagbar. I recommend to learn how to surf with guys form Bagus. They are very nice and have a lot of knowledge. If you want to try surfing, don’t hesitate! :)
