Home is so cozy, great location near shopping center, pools and beach. There is so much to do in the area. We will be staying again.

Great experience renting at SummerSpell in Miramar Beach! Beautiful condo, very clean. Only recommendation would be a rug inside the door for sandy/wet feet as the floors are hard and slick (children learned that quickly), there was an outdoor rug though.Great hospitality and kind, responsive people. We just returned from Destin/Miramar Beach and stayed at Gulfview ll #109. It was a wonderful experience! The condo is on the ground floor so no stairs or elevators to take! It is beautifully decorated, clean, and has everything you could possibly need to feel at home. It is perfectly located …. Only a few steps to a beautiful private beach and the chair service included is awesome (reserved front row every day)! It is within walking distance to a lot of great restaurants and very close to shopping and all of the popular attractions that Destin has to offer. We have stayed at several other condos in this same area and I have to say….this one is our favorite so far. It is perfect for couples or a small family. Communication was top notch! We will definitely be staying here again! Less

The condo was fantastic! Great location, very clean and comfortable. Grounds and pool were immaculate. The only thing, and it’s minor , is that the light above the kitchen sink was hit or miss and a little rusted. Be sure to bring your own beach towels, though. We had a great time at the house! It was much closer to the beach than we expected. Was a short walk. I have stayed at ocean front properties that I have had to walk further. Everything was decorated in a beachy but welcoming way. The beds were so comfortable. That being said I love a soft bed and it was amazing. The water pressure was fantastic! Great location, we have stayed at Blue surf many times. This particular unit has quit a lot of space. Could use a new balcony door upstairs - very hard to open. Also there was no broom and dust pan available to clean up sand and the sweeper that was available has a broken hose that kept popping off so it was not very helpful either. A better coffee pot would also be nice. Overall not bad just som... More

The location of the condo was in a very good area- direct access to the beach right across the street. There was plenty of parking in the associated lot and it was well lit. May need repairs. The cleaning in our condo could've been better upon arrival. Pretty sure the sheets were not changed, as there were stains on both beds. The floors could use more care, as your feet were black if you walked on them without shoes. The stove could use an upgrade, as it took a while to heat up when we used the burners. Curtains would have been nice in the front bed rooms, as the sun shines right in on you in the mornings. Less

On November 20th Monica contacted me and advised that the owner of the property was livid with the rental price we were provided and that he was going to pull out of the agreement. She admitted that she made a mistake and was trying to find a solution... More

I had reserved Coastal Rose, a house in the Maravilla community, for the month of March 2025. We had a signed contract for about a year in advance. On November 20th Monica contacted me and advised that the owner of the property was livid with the rental price we were provided and that he was going to pull out of the agreement. She admitted that she made a mistake and was trying to find a solution. Her solution was going to be moving us to a location miles away from Miramar Beach. We learned that there was verbiage in the contract that the owner could back out and Beach Bums was responsible for finding a suitable replacement. The options she offered were not suitable to us. We searched around for other open locations in the area and we could not find anything comparable. We ended up offering an additional $2000 in order to keep our original location. In retrospect I feel that we should have put up more of a fight but I felt like we were really being strong-armed. Everything went fine with check in however the amenities were not as advertised on their website. The details specifically stated that two golf carts are available for use. Only one was in working order. It stated there were bikes we could use. Not one of the bikes were in working order. We notified Beach Bums of both issues on March 5th. The golf cart mechanic did not pick up the useless golf cart until March 17th and we never saw it again. We were told the owner was ordering new bikes, they did not arrive until March 17th. We repeatedly reached out to Monica to ask about a quote for the following year and she never got back to us. Thankfully we found something for next year where we will not have deal with this very frustrating company. Less
