We chose Kingdom K9 after the consultation with Khalil. We had talked to a few other trainer’s for our basset/beagle , Louie , and are so happy we went with Kingdom K9! We watched Khalil train with another client who said it was the best decision they made. Khalil and his team genuinely care about training and caring for his client’s dogs. Louie is happy back home with us and we are so happy he’s calm and relaxed—living his dream life with us!!! I am incredibly thankful for my experience with Kingdom K9 Poway! I enrolled my 1 year old dog Maple into the three week day training and boarding program. Uncle Khalil and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. I agree with Khalil’s training philosophy-I appreciate that it is relationship and boundary based (rather than considering human as alpha). My dog was trying to pull us into the busy street we walked next to everyday when she saw a dog on the sidewalk across it and started barking, or a paper bag bouncing in the wind on the street island. If someone walked by her or ran/biked past her, she would lunge at them for attention or out of fear. When walking around a neighborhood with Christmas decorations, she would bark at the scary ones. When I first noticed the change with how she walked with me, it was very creepy. I am more used to it now, but do not take for granted the difference in quality of life. I can tell she is a much happier, confident, and less stressed dog too! Less

I often get told that my pit is so well behaved and I always give credit to his trainer who helped Arrow and me live a better life. My dog is able to go out with me and socialize with people with no problem. If you wonder if training is worth it, I promise you it is. My dog lives a more fulfilling life now thanks to Khalil. Less

We took our new rescue pug to Kingdom K9 to help him adjust to our son's larger dog. The owner was excellent in assessing the situation, trained him so that he not only obeyed but also no longer was aggressive to larger dogs. The owner/ trainer clearly cared not only about our dog and his behavior but also our concerns. Our dog was happy to return home but his tail wags every time we go there so clearly he is happy there as well. Kahlil, the owner and trainer, came to our house the first time the two dogs met and again when our pup had a set back around our son's dog. He went above and beyond our expectations to make sure our pup is a good fit into our extended family. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is experiencing issues with their dog! Less

We had a great experience with Kingdom K9. Leo, our rescue pug was very reactive around big dogs. It was a challenge to walk him and made for a very difficult Christmas when our sons brought over their dogs for the holiday. After consulting with Khalil, we opted for the board and train option. Leo is a changed dog. Much better behaved, calmer around other dogs, easier to walk on a leash and still the same sweet cuddly pug we adopted. Khalil was easy to work with, very accommodating, and eased the many concerns my wife had about the program. He even came to our house to reintroduce Leo to our son's dogs!
