We truly can’t believe this is our dog, we are so grateful.We adopted Chunk when he was a tiny 8 week old 8 pound puppy. Over the next 4.5 years he grew into an 89 pound impulsive Labrador, who loved intensely. Chunk has 2 older human brothers (9 and 5) and what finally made me seek out training was the boys sadness of not being able to take their own down on a walk (after an attempt that didn’t go well). My heart hurt and I realized we needed to do something.I was worried we let it go on for too long. I wanted to someone local who would take the time to understand. Kingdom K9 offered a consultation to assess and within minutes I saw firsthand Kahlil instantly connect and Chunk respond in a way I had never dreamed. Kahlil actively listened and provided a couple different options for training. For us, we needed to commit to the board and train. We missed him immensely, and treasured our weekly onsite trainings. Update to compliment my original review back in January, since we are approaching almost the 1 year anniversary of Loki's first time meeting Kahlil and completing the 3 week board & train program last September.Loki's (22 month old Belgian Malinois) obedience has continued to improve (the training never stops!) since my last review, and he has progressed into being able to walk around farmer's market, shopping malls, and even grocery stores where he is allowed. I did not think this day would come, but here we are.He remains neutral around other dogs of any breed, and still loves it at the Kingdom! He's not perfect, and we still have plenty of work to do, but we are very satisfied with Loki's current temperament. It is a night & day difference since we moved here last September. Kahlil and his staff's services are definitely worth the investment, and your life and relationship with your furry friend are worth it.To Kahlil and his Loki's uncles Malik, Theo, and Chris, our family is truly grateful for all the time & effort at the facility you spend to make San Diego's dogs and humans bettet!May God continue to bless you Kahlil, your family, and Kingdom K9!❤️ Loki's Fam

I cannot say enough great things about Kingdom K9.After my first pregnancy, I trusted Khalil and the Kingdom K9 family with my husky, Ghost, for boarding. From day one, Ghost loved being there. It was clear they didn’t just care for him, they truly built a bond with him and treated him like family.When I got my Belgian Malinois, Stormi, and had my second baby, I knew there was only one place I trusted to help train her. Khalil welcomed her into the boarding and training program, and the progress has been amazing. At only 4.5 months old, she has already learned so much confidence, obedience, and self-control. For a working breed with a lot of energy and drive, seeing her learn how to focus and listen has been incredible! Just came home with my Australian Shepherd Wes at the end of his first month. Aussie owners know their dogs can have very strong wills and be exceptionally devoted to their person. Wes has done great, but I need to be retrained. Kahlil and Chris are up for the challenge. As part of their program,I will be continuing “my” training a couple times a week and hope to attend their Wed. Outings also. Bring it on! And THANKYOU.

This guy really knows what he's talking about. Within minutes I learned more with him than months of researching training techniques. He is truly talented. The only downside is the cost. It's expensive but if you can do it, it would be a valuable investment to have the best life with your fur baby.

Kahlil and his team have been amazing to work with. They’re flexible, friendly, knowledgeable, and truly great teachers. We have a Cane Corso, and it’s been incredible seeing him go from a rowdy puppy to an obedient dog in training.Droopy has been through their board-and-train program, and the difference in him since then has honestly been amazing. When we first got him, we didn’t really know where to start, but Kahlil and the team gave us the confidence, guidance, and practical tips to help give our dog the best life possible.His scheduling is flexible, he’s accommodating with last-minute changes, and he’s even traveled pretty far to do in-home training sessions with us. They’ve helped our dog with socialization, off-leash commands, overall obedience, and understanding how to properly work with a powerful breed like a Corso.One thing we really appreciate is how much they genuinely care about Droopy. You can tell they truly love seeing him and even miss him when he’s gone. They know him in and out, and the feeling is definitely reciprocated from Droopy too. That kind of connection and care means a lot to us.Droopy has also trained and interacted with dogs of all sizes there, which helped a lot with his socialization and confidence. It’s nice knowing he’s built positive relationships and even has a few dog friends there now.Huge shoutout as well to Wayne, Chris, Theo, and Diego 🗣️ — thank you guys for all the patience, support, and work you continue to put into our boy.On top of everything, their pricing is very reasonable for the level of care and training you receive.
