I have been a patient of Dr. Kohler for the 40 plus years he has been in Wilmette. He provides outstanding care both for immediate work and preventative. He also has, in my opinion, accumulated the best staff that are excellent at what they do. He is a rare find in the dentistry industry that I have been lucky to have had him for these many years.

Dr. Kohler is an excellent dentist. I'd been going to another dental practice for a while, and was generally happy with the care I was receiving. However, after a sloppy filling that wasn't properly fixed after a follow-up, it became very clear that I'd never received proper care. The reason for the filling and pain I was experiencing had never been thoroughly addressed. I went to Dr. Kohler not knowing what to expect, but hoping that he'd be able to figure out why this filling was bothering me and why I was struggling with so much discomfort. He immediately diagnosed my problem, and in the process gave me the most thorough check-up/exam and cleaning I've ever had in my life. His use of a video camera and photos also allowed me to see what was really going on in my mouth, as he explained why it was problematic, and how he would fix it. He was also able to show me how poorly the last dental office had been doing cleanings. He is so thorough and kind. His team is great, too - they are just as caring and thorough as he is. Strongly recommend!
