On the day of the event, there were so many additional touches which we all really appreciated. I private hired the tranquil turtle for my 40th birthday celebration. At first I was nervous with the change of ownership half way through my booking but then I spoke to Megan. Not only did she put all my worries to rest but sent regular messages to check on things. She made the planning process not only easy but fun. Knowing I was supported by a venue. I’ve never had this service before. Then on the night she helped set everything up, went above what was required to make sure everything was perfect. If this wasn’t enough the bar staff were amazing. Fran, Saff and Chloe were all so friendly. Had so many of my guests compliment them. They helped at the end of the night with sorting things we needed to take home etc. I can’t recommend TT enough. The venue itself is stunning but the people that run it is what makes it so special. Thank you all of you. It truly was a night to remember. Less

We thoroughly enjoyed the dinner with Santa experience, however the adult menu was very poor , in fact it was the same choices as the children, mozzarella sticks, tempura prawns chips and nachos . The staff were very friendly but some of the food orders were mixed up but sorted out in a friendly and helpful manner. I would like to try this beautiful venue out and see what there normal food is like Less

We decided to hold a small retirement and belated birthday party at this venue. All I can say is the management team and their staff were extremely accommodating. The venue itself is “Instagramable” and the team there are amazing 🤩. Nothing was too much trouble, anyone that knows me will know that I can be high maintenance when it comes to executing a plan and I can state 100% that I could not find one fault with the delivery on the day. Beautiful venue, we had our Christmas works do tonight. The team fully catered to every request we had. Meg set up the day beautifully and ensured every base was covered. On the day, however, Shauna and Safi were the shining stars. I know they’re management but if the could be promoted higher, I’d highly recommend it!!! Less

A hidden gem on the edge of Stevenage. This venue really does have that wow factor. From the blossom tree inside, light up marble bar and endless photo opportunities this venue does not disappoint. We hired the venue for a private party and nothing was too much trouble for the management or staff. They went above and beyond to make the occasion special. Can’t wait to get there again. Less

Yesterday we held my mums wake at the TT. One of the hardest days of our lives. But wow the TT went above and beyond and made it a lot easier for us. From the beginning from emailing to plan the event to all the little touches. Flowers on the table matching mums theme, forget me not seeds on a beautiful memory table that had been set up for mum. Photos of mum hanging from there beautiful blossom tree, the whole thing was absolutely stunning ❤️ The food was amazing and the staff….well I can’t actually put into words just how amazing you all were!!! We recently celebrated my husband's 60th birthday at the Tranquil Turtle, and it was an outstanding experience. The venue is truly stunning, offering the perfect backdrop for a memorable event. The owners and staff were exceptionally accommodating and professional, ensuring everything ran smoothly. With over 150 guests and several DJs, the atmosphere was electric, and everyone had a fantastic time. Many of our guests were so impressed that they booked future events on the spot. Fantastic service and Afternoon tea. Karen and Katie were so good at accomodating our needs. We'd planned a baby shower but the baby had other ideas and arrived 4 days before the event. Katie was so good and changed the date without question. Communication was quick and easy. Being able to get in early to decorate was brilliant and Karen and her family had made the area perfect for our needs. A great venue for any event. Can highly recommend. Less

Beautiful Stevenage restaurant, very "Instagramable" Loads of seating, separated into different areas - 2 separate indoor sections, a dining room and a lounge. There's a beer garden with benches on the grass and another outdoor seating area with a bar; then another covered outdoor area. Lots of outdoor heaters. Less

The uniqueness of this Stevenage restaurant is very impressive. There's a tree in the middle of the restaurant, a garden with heaters and a bar to choose from upon reserving. The food was also delicious. We chose the lunch break menu with only 2 options and needed more time to finish it. The best part though there's a real turtle in the fish tank. Less
