We celebrated my husband’s 60th birthday at Tranquil Turtle, and what an incredible experience it was! This is definitely a hidden gem in Stevenage. Would recommend it for any occasion.The staff were absolutely amazing from start to finish. Megan is a fantastic events organiser who made everything completely stress-free. She was so helpful, answered all my questions and queries promptly, and made sure every detail was taken care of. The day was perfect!The bar staff were exceptional too. Shona and her team looked after all our guests with such patience, kindness and professionalism.It was a fantastic night filled with fun, laughter and wonderful memories. Most importantly, all our guests left happy and thoroughly enjoyed themselves.A huge thank you to the whole team at Tranquil Turtle for helping make my husband’s 60th birthday so special. We couldn’t have asked for a better celebration.

I recently celebrated our wedding at Tranquil Turtle, and we honestly couldn't have asked for a better venue or a more perfect day!A massive shoutout has to go to our host, Megan. She is an absolute superstar. Megan worked closely with us for a whole year leading up to the big day, helping us plan, coordinate, and figure out all the logistics. She was incredibly supportive, patient, and dedicated to making sure the event happened exactly how we envisioned it. Planning a wedding can be stressful, but Megan genuinely went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of.The venue itself was beautiful, the atmosphere was absolutely wicked, and our guests had an amazing time celebrating with us. It was the perfect setting for us to bring our family and friends together for such a milestone.If you're looking for an event space with a host who truly cares and will go the extra mile to make your special day unforgettable, we cannot recommend Tranquil Turtle highly enough. Beautiful stunning venue, inside, outside are equally as lovely, with an outside bar, also a stunning shelter with beautiful lighting and shade. Such great music events especially the soul sessions on the 1st Sunday of the month. A must for all to check out.

I really recommend tranquil turtle for any private hire’s. Megan was amazing from the start to the end, we were able to arrive early to set up for a 7pm start, Megan even helped me with the set up of the decorations as I was very stressed!The actually night was amazing and I couldn’t say one fault about it. The venue is stunning and had so many say the same on the night!🤍

Hired the venue for our wedding in May. Megan was so lovely and great communication throughout - even our guests commented on how lovely she is!The in-house catering was great, the venue is well decorated (so didn't need to add much of our own), and an amazing space indoors and out. Ample parking, great bar staff, and Megan was very flexible (within reason of course!).Would definitely recommend for a wedding reception/ celebrations/ etc!

I just had my 40th birthday party at Tranquil Turtle and it was the most perfect venue. All of my guests mentioned how lovely the place was. The staff were great, especially Megan who was in touch with me since I booked it 6 months ago. The best thing is it already looks so pretty inside, so you don't have to spend a fortune decorating it. This bar is perfect for parties, don't hesitate to book it!

Was there Wednesday for my brothers wedding amazing place very clean we all had the best time bar staff where very helpful and friendly went out there way to make sure we was happy and the glasses where always collected to free up tables will be using this place again going forward its better then anywhere else I have been thank you again for a lovely night x

Had a family birthday event at this venue. The staffs were absolutely amazing, they are polite and extremely professional. It’s a business that is built on family and love. So you will be treated as such. The food is 10/10 and so are the staffs. Book your event here you will not regret it. As for the aesthetics, breath taking. Go see for yourself.

Hands down the best venue if you’re looking to host a special occasion locally in StevenageThe team were fantastic in ensuring that I would get my 30th birthday sorted out and they absolutely smashed it with the entire set up. The venue is perfect if you have a large number of people looking to attend.The manager was fantastic with the communication to make sure that everything would go perfectly planned.Thankfully everybody enjoyed my 30th Birthday and I had a very memorable night.Thank you to the entire team for making this happen!

I had my 21st birthday party here and I really recommend if you need event space. Megan was so helpful with helping me get exactly what I wanted and had really good recommendations for balloons & decor. Everyone was so helpful all the way up to the end of the night & the girls at the bar were so lovely. Would defo have this event space again xxx
