Wow!!! What an amazing PT! Dr. Tessa is so knowledgeable in all aspects. I saw Dr. Tessa for misdiagnosed foot pain. She diagnosed the problem and created an exercise regiment. So awesome to be feeling good.

Dr. Cat at Summit Physio and Performance did an excellent job with my teenage daughter’s initial evaluation for ongoing back pain. She was thorough and attentive, taking the time to listen and understand my daughter’s concerns. Dr. Cat put real thought into the prescribed exercises and treatment plan, tailoring them to my daughter’s specific needs. We left feeling heard, supported, and confident in the plan moving forward. Highly recommend Dr. Cat!

I spent about 4 hours job shadowing Cat, one of there licensed physical therapists. Not only was the experience extremely helpful, but I noticed the level of professionalism displayed at this clinic was excellent. She made a clear effort to keep in touch with patients and understand their personal lives to personalize their treatment plan. It felt amazing watching her run someone through a series of exercises and needling to regain there range of motion and diminish any pain they might be feeling. I myself have been injured recently and know just how important it is to have a physical therapist as knowledgeable as her, so I will definitely refer any friends in need. Thank you for the opportunity Cat - the work they do here is top tier!

I have hEDS among other issues and LOVE working with Dr Bree. She’s attentive, knowledgeable, and has a great way of scaling care over time. I always leave my sessions feeling capable and that I can continue the work at home. We’ve talked about how her approach mirrors the value of the whole clinic, and it’s clear when you talk to anyone else who works at Summit. I recommend them to anyone!

Best PT I've experienced. Dr. Cui is incredibly knowledgeable and professional. I cannot recommend Summit Physio enough and I am grateful for the help in getting my shoulder back in working condition. If you're struggling with an injury and you want to get back to being fully functional, this is the place for you!

Dr. Tessa is one of the best physical therapists I have ever seen. She really gets to the root cause of my pain, treats it accordingly, and changes my homework as I grow stronger and heal. I'd recommend her to anyone I know! Dry needling has changed my life and my mobility in a way I never thought possible! :) I love you summit PT

After spraining my back, Tessa was able to get me right in to check things out. She was able to quickly diagnose the issue, performed dry needling, and prescribed other movements and stretches that would help me recover. She also worked closely with my personal trainer to modify my workout program accordingly. Every visit was pleasant, professional, and got me back on track.

Dr. Tessa was highly recommended to me by the local Colorado Springs running community when I was dealing with a nagging calf strain that had been hampering my running for months. During the first appointment, Dr. Tessa was incredibly thorough in her assessment, quickly identifying the root cause of my symptoms, and providing an effective home exercise program with confidence to get me back to running pain-free soon. Over the next few weeks, our appointments included running gait assessments, dry needling, soft tissue work, and targeted strengthening exercises. Thanks to her expertise, I was able to quickly return to running completely pain free. Throughout the entire process, Dr. Tessa was professional, kind, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in my recovery. Even after our appointments concluded, she continued to check in and cheer me on as I worked toward my running goals. I’m incredible grateful that I found Dr. Tessa!

I had an outstanding experience here after injuring my knee in a ski accident. From my very first appointment, I noticed a real difference; I was already walking with less of a limp and moving more comfortably. Over the next few sessions, my day-to-day life returned to normal: stairs were no longer a challenge, and I stopped thinking twice about everyday movement.By my final appointment, I felt confident enough to return to the gym and fully trust my body again. The staff are wonderful, scheduling is easy and flexible, and they genuinely meet you where you are in your recovery journey. I can't recommend them highly enough!

I have been working with Summit Physio & Performance for about six months and I couldn't be happier with the results. I initially wanted help recovering from an acute shoulder injury that occurred while rock climbing. Dr Tessa (my primary) and Dr Cat were both extremely helpful, energetic, and positive about the recovery and strengthening process. I was given exercises along with clear and specific instructions (my prescription) as well as sessions of dry needling. They were always available to clarify any questions that came up about my prescription as I put it into practice. All healing takes time and effort on behalf of the patient, but with persistent work I experienced steady strength and mobility gains. After we had a good handle on my shoulder we moved on to other trouble spots; my hips and my lower back. Again, targeted and specific exercises were combined with dry needling and then cupping (for my lower back). The combination of techniques brought relief and improved mobility in what have been life long trouble spots for me.Not only has Summit Physio and Performance helped me to address injuries and mobility issues, they have helped guide me toward a stronger and healthier body. I could not give them a stronger recommendation. Thank you for all the help, the expertise, and the positive energy!!

The whole team at summit is incredibly knowledgable and their approach to healing is holistic and person-centered. I worked mostly with Dr.Cat during my time with Summit and went from assuming when I first started I would be having to get a pretty invasive surgery and then fast forward to seven months later, thanks to her expertise, and I am not only getting back to being completely functional but stronger than before. Highly recommend checking-them out!

Great experience with Dr. Tessa. Was a bit nervous being my first time in PT. I injured my left shoulder and it wasn't healing (4 months). Dr. Tessa is super knowledgeable and used a variety of exercises, needling, cupping, and home therapy. I was back to 90% in 50-60 days!

Fantastic physical therapy clinic with outstanding patient care. The therapists are knowledgeable, attentive, and truly invested in helping patients reach their goals. Being co-located with a CrossFit gym is a huge advantage, providing access to a wide variety of equipment that makes rehab more functional and effective. Great facility, great staff, and an excellent overall experience.

Dr Bree has even fantastic to work with. After hitting dead ends elsewhere with little explanation, only injections and surgeries mentioned, I was at a loss. Dr Bree has my injuries dialed in, I feel educated on what is happening and how we are fixing my issues… without injections or surgery. I finally feel confident in my healing path forward on my knee and hamstring pain. Thank you Dr Bree!

So far, so good. My wife has suffered hip pain and thought she’d try dry needling. Summit was very responsive in scheduling promptly and really seemed to know their stuff on first visit. She signed up for six more visits, hopefully all goes well. Highly recommend!!

Cat helped me work through multiple injuries in only two sessions and gave me clear, easy-to-follow direction. I especially appreciated how she utilized the app instead of just paper copies of exercises. The positive energy and free approach made a huge difference in my experience.

My first session with Dr. Bree was awesome. She was thorough in trying to identify my injury, and I left feeling optimistic that we can work through and recover from it! I got dry needling done on my quad, and it felt awesome after the fact. I’ll be going back soon to continue needling with her! Highly recommend her for your PT needs.
