I love Knapps!! Reasonable prices and great service

I don't need service often. But when I do, nobody beats Knapp's. Tow driver Keith is prompt, communicates ETA's well and very knowledgeable. Turnaround on repairs is always on-time or ahead of schedule.

Incredible service. Family owned company who always takes the extra step to make sure you are educated on what’s needed and has your best interests at heart. Jerry and Parker do an amazing job, highly recommend - service is always amazingly fast too!

I had them replace the PCV valve and hose on my 09 Subaru Impreza. I purchased the Subaru OE valve and hose on eBay intending to do it myself, but discovered I didn’t have the correct socket set or other items needed. They were one of the only places that was willing to use customer supplied parts. The Subaru dealer told me they didn’t recommend replacing the part. I have approx 115,000 miles on the vehicle, purchased new. Never replaced it before, I didn’t even know about it. I saw a you tube video whole heartedly recommending replacement every 30- 50 k. Knapp’s got me in the next day after my call and had it completed by lunchtime.

I inherited a car that failed an echeck test despite this and its age, I was hopeful that it would last me for a year or two with a bit of maintenance. My encounter with Knapp in Lakewood started with Keith. He was kind enough to explain potential issues that cause a failed echeck, scheduled me for the following morning, and offered transportation while they serviced the car. I was greeted by he and Parker the following morning not only with professionalism, but with genuine kindness. Jerry eventually had to give me the unfortunate news that the car was not worth fixing and that he absolutely would not let me waste my money by selling me any repair services. Keith and Jerry took it further by giving me advice on purchasing a used vehicle and offering their assistance. Unbeknownst to them I wasn’t having the best of days; however, their compassion for others and superior customer service brightened my day more than they could ever imagine. I’ve already decided that when I purchase my next vehicle all of my maintenance will be done at Knapp in Lakewood. Until then, I’ll be a referral source for them when someone else is in need of a trusted team for auto maintenance. Oh yeah, Good Luck Parker!

I've had a battery drain for about 2 years on my 2012 Acura TL but it got worse the past few months draining the battery in 2-3 days. Plus the sunroof and front passenger window wasn't working along with the memory seat and car alarm, so I thought they might be related. I was told to come here by Ben at Enhanced transmission.Bob put some hours in tracking down and found the wiring harness in drivers door was corroded pretty well. The battery was also toast from being drained too many times so they replaced that. I also really appreciate they phoned me to keep me informed what was going on and what the tech was finding.Picked it up today and everything works again! I really appreciate the work put into my car as the body is in good condition and I only have 134K miles for a 14 year old car and it runs strong. So I plan on driving another 3-5 years. Thanks so much I really appreciate it!

I can’t say enough good things about Knapp’s Madison Auto! I came in with a tire that was slowly losing air, and Jerry and Parker absolutely knocked it out of the park. They were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and had the issue diagnosed and fixed in no time. The service was fast, honest, and priced more than fairly—which is hard to find these days. They made the entire experience stress-free and easy. Hands down the best customer service I’ve had at an automotive repair shop. I’ll be recommending them to everyone and will definitely be back!
