So, my Rottie was at Mikes for 4 weeks. I waited a few weeks before I left a review so I could include everything that’s still working. Mike is a dog whisperer. Axel continues to display your basic commands and good behavior by staying in the yard. I have no fence. When I went to drop Axel off, Mike saw one of his issues first hand because Axel dragged me on my butt across his lawn. Axel no longer does that when walking with me. Axel doesn’t jump on people anymore and he doesn’t try to chase after cars. We decided that putting an e-collar on Axel would benefit both of us. I barely use it. It’s on everyday too. Axel listens to all of our family where he used to only listen my husband and my son. I attribute Axel’s good behavior is to maintenance training. 10 min a day practicing commands, walking and setting boundaries. We use rewards to train and also use them during the day or night for good behavior. I also include my 4 year old in the training. He and Axel are BFF’s. Axel only barks at appropriate times. He’s also a great watchdog.I could go on and on about the good results from Axel training at Mike’s. What’s really important is the on going training. Only 10 min a day!! 🙏 Thank you Mike!!! You have made Axel’s and my family’s life tremendously!!! I highly recommend Mike.

I sent my two German Shepherds for the 3 week board and train to firm up their obedience and start E-collar training. The change in them was immediately noticeable in their responsiveness to commands and their general demeanor. If you are looking for a board and train Mike is amazing.

Mike was extremely helpful with our two Dobermans. Within 10 minutes they were completely different dogs on leash and he provided us with a better understating on how to discipline and work through issues. Highly recommend!!

I highly recommend North Shore Paws. They're awesome and very responsive. Jax had no prior training and when I got him back he's like a pro. He shows you step by step on how to continue his training at home. It was a pleasure having him work with Jax.

Mike was amazing with our dog from start to finish. We did a board and train for our 6mo old puppy and he brought her back to us in Massachusetts all the way from Long Island a completely new dog! She’s much more confident in her walks, no more pulling, no more chasing at other animals. She respects her calls and it’s a blast with her now! Thank you so much North Shore Paws 🐾

We entrusted Coco with Michael for two weeks. He kept us updated with videos and photos of her progress. Answered all our questions and more! Coco came home with way more discipline than when she left us! Now walks right next to us calmly down the street and immediately goes to her "place" when commanded.

Mike came to our house tonight to help us with our 10 month old puppy, Enzo. Enzo is a high energy, highly reactive dog who needs help to control that. Mike was able to show us how to control Enzo with leash walking amongst other things. Within our session we learned a great deal and already saw a huge improvement with our pup. I HIGHLY recommend Mike and team to train your fur baby!! You will not be disappointed!

Brought our 2 year old shih tzu, Lucy, to North Shore Paws to work on her dog reactivity. At the beginning of our session, she was barking and pulling at the sight of another dog. In just one hour, Lucy was laying calmly on a placement mat as she ate treats while another dog walked around her. We are excited to use the tricks that we learned in our session to continue to help Lucy become less reactive towards dogs. Thank you Mike!
