Updating here: We just re-hired Katrina to do my second son's senior photos. Again, she had location ideas, and the photos came out great. My son is not at ease with the kind of attention needed to do photos, but Katrina's easeful manner was so helpful. And, she just kept finding new photo opportunities in the area we were in. She was clearly excited about getting great shots. And she helped my husband on a side quest of his: getting a photo with the Robocop in Eastern Market. And, I came away with new headshots. To add to all of this, on the night were set to review our photos, Katrina was under the weather, but she kept the appointment instead of rescheduling. She has been great to work with. Hire her.Had a great experience. In a busy senior photo season and after another photographer canceled on us, Katrina responded within 24 hours. After asking for our vision for the photos, she gave feedback on best locations. My son's senior photos were beautiful: the location, lighting, and poses were perfect. I had no idea that I would enjoy the final product, a photo album, so much. And, when we needed a last minute edit on a photo, so it could be included in the high school yearbook, Katrina was quick to respond with a solution that saved us a lot of time and stress. Thanks for the great work! My son now has his photos up on his Instagram page!

Katrina Cross is an AMAZING photographer!! She was able to meet us on-site to take photos of 17+ people in different combinations for the University of Michigan's Detroit Neighborhood Entrepreneurs Project. Katrina gave great advice about poses to give us the variety of photos we needed and did an excellent job of balancing lighting to make EVERYONE look great -- hard to pull off in a group with a wide range of skin tones and non-coordinated clothing. I highly recommend!
