I regret to say that my experience with CoolVu of Dayton was nothing short of disappointing. We hired them for tinting over 100 windows on our commercial garage doors, and the service provided was subpar at best.First, the installation quality was poor—light was visible around the edges of the tint, peeling of the film, bubbles and brackets were removed and not replaced. Due to these removed brackets, some windows broke, adding to our troubles.After the installation, we tried to reach out to CoolVu regarding the issues. WE PAID THEM IN FULL ONCE THEY PROMISED TO FIX THINGS - We spent two months emailing, calling, and texting, only to receive no response. It was only after we hired another company, Beyond Kompare, to rectify the situation that Zachary J from CoolVu reached out. This lack of communication was incredibly disappointing.Ultimately, we had to hire Beyond Kompare to redo CoolVu's work, costing a significant amount more. Inspectors from other companies confirmed the initial job was so poorly executed that everything needed to be removed and replaced.In my opinion, I would advise anyone seeking window tinting services to look elsewhere. Choose a professional company that ensures proper installation and maintains communication. Save yourself from an experience like ours with CoolVu of Dayton.

I had my patio enclosed creating a 3-season room, yet wanted additional privacy, so I chose CoolVu to assist in making this a reality. Their sales rep was extremely personable, upfront with cost and what the process entailed. On the day of install the CoolVu tech communicated arrival time, reviewed the install process with me and answered all of my questions. The install was just a few hours, the tech cleaned up the trimmings and anything that needed to be discarded. He was a truly nice guy that I was able to chat with while he worked on the install. Once done, the sunroom now has a level of privacy that I definitely had anticipated and CoolVu made it happen. Looking at the sunroom from the outside you can barely see inside which was my intent, though from the inside it’s like you’re wearing sunglasses 😎 and can see out easily. I also had my front storm door and sidelights done since my house faces West to aid in keeping down the heat transfer during the summer months. I’d truly recommend this company for any tinting needs you may have! This was a great experience and without hesitation, I’d use them again.

I was in a local coffee shop when an employee of this company was applying film to the business windows. The guy seemed like he knew what he was doing and applied the tint well, but that is not what impressed me. While the gentleman was applying the window tint at the coffee shop customers were using the doors he was working on. The guy went out of his way to open the doors for them and thank them for coming to this location. People thought he was working for the coffee shop so they asked him a slew of questions which he fielded beautifully! I was so impressed with the employee that I would recommend his company for every tint job that comes up!

We recently had tint applied to our sunroom windows. The heat was so bad in the evening our air conditioner could not keep up. After the tint was applied the difference it made was amazing, the air conditioner keeps up so well we had to adjust it. So comfortable now, we absolutely love it and wished we had done it long ago! The install was done quickly and professionally!
