My journey with Summer began with an impromptu visit to one of her conferences in 2025. I had no idea that one decision would completely change the direction of my life. Not even 6 months later, the Lord had transformed my world. I finished the book I'd carried in my heart for nearly two decades, second in the Kingdom Book Awards, Arts Impact Award and relaunched my children's books. I have discovered a level of purpose and confidence I never thought possible. It all began when I chose to turn my fear into faith. I can never thank Summer enough for believing in people, challenging them to dream again, and creating an environment where lives are genuinely transformed. In 2021, God used a messenger—an angel sent straight from Him—to introduce me to the Fear into Faith community through a simple Bible challenge. I had no idea that one small “yes” would set off a chain reaction that would forever change my life. That challenge led me to a Fear into Faith virtual event, then to enrolling in the Fear into Faith Academy, and eventually to attending two powerful in-person events.By 2024, I thought I had everything I needed. I believed I was equipped, settled, and “done.” What I didn’t realize was that God wasn’t finished with me. He was calling me higher—calling me to step into my true assignment as a transformational speaker. Instead of obeying, I grew comfortable. I delayed. I resisted.So God did what only a loving Father would do—He shook me. He allowed my world to be turned completely upside down when I was removed from a teaching position I deeply loved. That loss broke me… but it also awakened me. In the rubble, I finally heard Him clearly and chose surrender over safety.This past November, I recommitted my life and calling by becoming God’s “yes” girl once again at the Faith on Fire virtual event. And now, instead of running from the call, I am embracing it. I am learning, stretching, and stepping boldly into the speaker God created me to be—one testimony, one moment of obedience at a time.
