I visited Rhonda about 10 years ago. Personally, I was unable to keep up with the regimen, but my son is now a teen and want to do where his hair natural and free. Unfortunately, I just didn't have the skill so when it came time to go to a special event, I knew where to send him.Rhonda took her time and was very kind to him. She helped to build his confidence and he left feeling empowered to do his own hair and maintain his curls. I think the service is super expensive, but he will be back because it is worth it!

Trust the process. She hated putting braids in, and refused to take them out…which resulted in a lot of broken and damaged hair. To her, her hair was just staying short.We met HydraBar at a natural hair show several years ago. After years of fighting over taking out braids, I brought my child for her first appointment. Love love love this salon! They specialize in not only the styling of your hair but also actual hair care, and the focus is on your NATURAL hair. I've been attending this salon diligently for 2 years and it is the best salon I have ever been to. My hair has thrived here and I get so many compliments repeatedly on my hair. I recently added colored highlights to my hair and it is so goregous. The health of my hair has not suffered at all from the color. Rhonda, the owner, is so masterfully talented in curly hair care, I highly recommend her and her salon.

Hydra-Bar Salon was a God-send when I first moved to Florida. The climate was totally different from where I moved from, and my hair was frizzing! Rhonda is the owner; she's friendly and generous with her time. For anyone who wants to learn how to care for their curly hair properly, she will take the time to break it down. Over the last six months, my hair has grown longer and is healthier. The curls are always defined when I leave and stay that way for over a week! I'm even learning how to apply their secret sauce technique at home so I can have luscious curls all the time.
