From the start of our near-complete home renovation project, Poonam instilled confidence in us of her ability to perform this monumental task. Her architectural renderings were accurate down to the finest detail. She showed up on time, every time, for all meetings, and constructed a clear plan of action to complete each task. She offered many design options, and considered our lifestyle, budget, and durability of each design decision. She has an incredible eye for detail, and completely transformed our house into a beautiful, calm, tranquil home. The result was much more than we expected - our house was thoroughly changed into something modern and luxurious. Now it provides us with beauty, functionality, and comfort. I LOVE my house now! Many of my guests find it as magnificent and peaceful as we do. We worked with Poonam on our home remodel. From the design of the new spaces to the paint colors, she was with us at every juncture. She first asked us to make boards on Houzz and Pinterest so she could gauge our design interests. Then she took our needs and wants and created 2D and 3D images of the new spaces. She pushed us to make sure we had a home we LOVED not just liked. Her attention to detail was a real plus as it made us create a functional home as well as a beautiful one. The plans she drew up were so accurate that the contractors we had bid on our project were all impressed. She added small touches that we would never have considered had we designed the project ourselves. She also had a wealth of resources that made our project a little less painful! Poonam Patel w/Urban Loop Studio did a phenomenal job of redesigning & renovating our home. Having a designer who is a skilled architect opened up what was possible with our home & resulted in a much more open concept living room/kitchen. The house looks open, airy & charming & is much more functional. She redesigned the space to include larger windows, wonderful lighting, storage, bathrooms, kitchen & dining room. Wonderful! Before we selected Urban Loop Studio, we were stumped about how to marry different ceiling heights in our main living area where we were removing a wall. We'd been told we'd have to add a fur down, which we did not want to do. It was tricky, & 2 contractors didn't even bother to submit bids for the project. We instead hired Poonam, who quickly realized we could vault the ceiling to marry the ceiling heights, while gaining 2 1/2 feet of height in the center. It looks amazing! She also suggested vaulting the tiny tub/shower room in our master - inexpensive & what a difference that made! When our project grew from a few rooms to renovation of the entire home, she had cost-saving ideas that helped. Her training as an architect & her design ideas have made a huge impact. Thanks to her design, our formerly 3 dark, dated bathrooms now look stunning & fit our vintage/modern theme perfectly. Poonam tweaked our ideas to make the design more interesting & cleaner -- she's got a great eye. It's obvious she loves her work, & the added bonus is she's also fun to work with. My husband & I highly recommend her.

We hired Poonam in part because she's an architect as well as a designer; she suggested vaulting the ceiling & it looks amazing. We've also completed 2 of 3 bathrooms so far, & they are stunning. She's taken our ideas & tweaked them to make the designs more interesting & cleaner. It's been fun learning about design from her; little things have been huge, like using an unexpected dark, warm grout color to make accent tile stand out. Poonam has a really great eye & ability to marry vintage & contemporary designs. It's very obvious she loves her work, & she's also fun to work with. My husband & I highly recommend her.

This one woman show was such a delight to work with. Who knew you could pack so much energy into such a small package. Poonam helped me with the redesign of my guest bedroom. From start to finish, I felt my needs were addressed and little details were taken care. She didn't sway me to any particular vendors. The pricing was reasonable compared with others. I felt she did an excellent job and have recommended her to my friends.

Poonam did a fantastic job designing 2 spaces in our home: our dining room and our entry room. She worked pretty closely with us from the beginning to understand our needs, what the rooms would be used for, our tastes and preferences, and our budget. She is very detailed oriented and very meticulous, and she found pieces of furniture and decor we were in love with! I am picky when it comes to home decor, and Poonam would not settle for anything I didn't absolutely love, even if that meant she would have to search longer. She brings really great ideas to the table and thinks about things that nobody else does. She also makes sure that once everything arrives it is set up correctly in the room and she follows through with all the different vendors. On top of that, she is very personable and really a nice person to work with. I highly recommend.
