The team at Chimney Fixers were highly professional, competitively priced, and did a great job installing our new wood-burning insert.Unlike many others who charge for the most basic inspection, Dan and the team completed a thorough inspection and explained areas of concern for free. He also took the time to answer [way too many] questions from me.We ultimately settled on a wood-burning insert, which was delivered and installed within a couple of weeks of ordering. Jake and Josh were highly professional and did a great job on the installation!Highly recommend to anyone in the Pittsburgh area.

Chimney fixers was contacted to provide an estimate for a sensitive real estate transaction in late 2024. The buyer found the company online, but the seller had to authorize and pay for the work. The case was assigned to Dan Grider of Chimney Fixers. Dan had a tough role, to keep both the buyer and the seller informed, explain the various costs, and explain the whole repair process in its various stages. Dan nailed it, he navigated the situation with the confidence of a dedicated professional, which eased concerns of both the seller and buyer. The work was completed in the winter under adverse weather and the work completion records where transferred to the new owner. Upon move-in the new owner noticed some exterior work needed additional touch-ups, due to winter rain affecting product cure-in time. The new home owner contacted Dan re the additional touch-ups, and the company honored their commitment to ensure delivery of quality work, even if they had to return to the job. Within a few weeks the touchups were completed to the customer's approval. Overall a great experience with Chimney Fixers and specially with Dan's focus on communication, clarity, and customer service.

I called Chimney Fixers to get a second opinion on my chimney. Dan showed up the next day after calling, was incredibly polite, and took my calls after hours to better explain why the solutions he was proposing were going to work. He confirmed the bad news that it needed some major work, but was able to walk me through some solutions that could help in the meantime until a full rebuild was done. He discovered several underlying problems that other contractors didn’t see. The day of the work, Alex and Mich came to the house and performed the work quickly and neatly. Later in the day I turned my furnace back on and heard some debris from the chimney work fall into it, I immediately turned it off to prevent any damage, and called Alex. He responded back to the house within 30 mins, and fixed the issue. These guys were very patient with all of my questions, and were extremely polite and professional.
