I cannot say enough good things about RDA Academy. I came in with **zero martial arts experience** I had never done anything like this before and now I train here 5–6 times a week. I never expected to love Muay Thai as much as I do, and so much of that is because of the coaches, the environment, and the community they’ve created.Kenneth Parker and Arthur Estrazulas are incredible coaches. Both have real ring-fighting experience, and the level of instruction here in Muay Thai, BJJ, and MMA is truly some of the best. They genuinely care about your progress, take the time to make sure you understand the technique correctly, and are very intentional about helping you improve while keeping you safe and preventing injuries. From the very beginning, I felt supported, and I could see myself improving class after class. The classes are extremely well structured and organized. They start on time, communication is always clear, and the instructors set such a great example through their knowledge, patience, discipline, and dedication. Whether you are brand new or experienced, you can tell that the coaches really care about teaching the right way, not just getting through a class. The academy itself is also top-notch! It is always extremely clean and organized, the mats are very comfortable, the amenities are great, and they clean the mats after every single class. The entire place always smells fresh and feels very well taken care of.But what makes RDA Academy especially unique is the community. It genuinely feels like a family. There are people here of all different ages and experience levels, and as a woman, I have always felt incredibly comfortable, respected, and welcomed. It can be intimidating to walk into a martial arts gym for the first time, especially with no prior experience, but I never felt out of place here. The owners, RDA and Cris, are extremely involved in the academy and in the students’ training. They know everyone by name, which says so much about the type of community they’ve built. RDA Jr., Alejandro, and Luana at the front desk are the same way. They always greet you with a smile, know everyone’s names, and make you feel welcome from the moment you walk through the door.RDA will also often jump into classes himself, which means you literally get the opportunity to learn and train alongside a champion! Having access to that level of knowledge and experience while still being in such a welcoming and down-to-earth environment is really special. As a business owner with a very demanding schedule, this place has helped me in ways that go far beyond the physical side of training. It has become somewhere I can disconnect, clear my head, challenge myself, and be part of a community where I can leave everything else at the door for an hour and just train. It has been just as valuable for me mentally as it has been physically.I started here from absolute zero, and now I genuinely CANNOT stop going 😂 I look forward to training, I feel myself getting better every week, and I’m so grateful I found this place ❤️Thank you to RDA, Cris, coach Kenneth, coach Arthur, RDA Jr., Alejandro, Luana, and everyone at the academy for building such an incredible place to train and such a special community! I absolutely love RDA Academy and would recommend it to anyone, especially someone who has never tried martial arts before and might be nervous about taking that first step.
