When we were planning to upgrade the range in our kitchen from a Freestanding unit (controls on back panel) to a Slide-In unit (no back panel), we started looking at companies to install a backsplash behind the range. We chose Ultimate Home Design based on the positive customer reviews, the friendly in-store experience, the plethora of material options, and the reasonable price.We were so happy with the way the 1st job turned out, we decided to get a backsplash done on the opposite side of the kitchen (the sink side) a short time later. Bottom line up front: Ultimate Home Design doesn't consider the job done until you are happy. The Good: Ultimate Home Design has a nice section of surfaces, cabinets, and hardware; plenty of choices but not so many as to be overwhelmed. The materials and craftsmanship are great. Tile installation in particular stood out to me. Emir Kose (Designer/Manager) was a pleasure to work with. He was very helpful in the process of picking out materials and genuinely cared about making sure I was happy with the bathroom remodel. The not so good: On multiple days I found myself cleaning up after the day's construction (e.g., minor construction debris, cigarette butts, coffee cups, etc). In the end, the good so greatly out weights the not so good that I considered not even mentioning it. Nobody's perfect. Less
