We searched for a contractor with experience with fire resistant fences to replace our existing cedar fence. YG Fence is out of Santa Rosa, and they have extensive experience with composite fencing because of all the replacement fencing going on related to the wild fires in their area. We are located in southern Marin county. We received bids from four contractors and chose Yovani (bids were all fairly close - his bid was in the middle - we chose him after meeting with him and evaluating his recommendations and comments on the proposed project). We had decided on Trex Fencing because we have a dock made of a comparable composite and the regional Trex Fence rep had great things to say about YG Fence and Yovani. Yovani is a true professional (and a nice guy). The fence (TrexFence) is beautiful, and the entire interaction - bid, ordering, prep, demo of existing fence, installation, clean-up, and follow-up has been first rate. Yovani met with us at our home, surveyed the project, and provided a bid and timeframe. He also identified a problem with our neighbor's property (settling adjacent to the property line) and offered to solve their problem by moving the excavated dirt from the fence installation to their property at no additional cost. (The neighbor loved the idea - done!). He showed up on time with his crew and completed the project ahead of schedule (at the quote price). Each day the crew would clean up so there was never a mess. They primarily use hand tools for digging post hole so the noise was minimal. He's followed up after the project to see how all was going. His crew consists of himself, his dad, his brother, and a best friend. Highest recommendation - I only wish all contractors would take a lesson from Yovani in terms of quality of work and professionalism.

We purchased a multi unit rental property in Santa Rosa. One unit had a parking spot that backed to an alley with a manual gate. We didn’t feel it was safe for the tenant to get out of their car at night to open & close the gate so I called around to see if someone could make it work with a remote control. It was not straightforward and I called multiple fence companies who told me it was either not possible or super expensive. I almost gave up when I saw Y& G fence in the newspaper ( I love that they support the local paper). They looked at it & NO PROBLEM! They made a beautiful automatic gate that not only keeps our renters safe but increased the rent ability AND the property value. If we ever have a question or an issue (with the craftsman motor, not the fence) we get a quick response & they are happy to help. I wouldn’t waste my time looking at anyone else to do the work.

We had 2 custom metal fences and gates installed (replacing wood, to be in compliance with CA wildfire guidelines). Yovani and his brother Noey did a perfect job in every way. With prompt scheduling as an added bonus. HIGHLY recommended.

Yovani and his crew replaced a section of fence a while back. They matched the look of our main fence perfectly. Then they rebuilt my deck. Then they replaced another section of fence. Then they built a utility area fence that is outside our kitchen window and it is beautiful.Obviously I like their work. On time, on budget, quality craftsmanship and polite workmen throughout.
