Shows up exactly an hour later (props to him). But not cool to have someone in limbo like that and for that long. & I will say this, the techs that have come out. I have had multiple company’s out and they would do patch up jobs. Once Technician Corey arrived at my house on time, he was very presentable and profesional. Already I could tell the job was going to get done. Corey took the first steps of inspecting my air handler (that was 2 years old) and inspected all my air ducts on the outside (in the attic) and all my vents inside. Corey quickly identified mold all inside my new air handler and inside all my duct work. He quickly came up with a game plan of how we were going to attack and solve this issue. He gave me all the options and was very honest. In the end we decided to do the sanitation in all the air ducts and a cleaning of the air handler, plus installation of a UV light inside the air handler itself and an instillation of the REME HALO-LED Whole Home In-Duct Air Purifier to keep my air ducts clean and mold free. Corey completed the job in under two hours and the results were pretty much breathtaking (especially since I could breath clean air again in my house). Corey you are my Moses, you split the seas! He suggested and showed me an system called RGF Reme air purifier that goes into your ac system right above the ac handler .he also educated me on how the system works .So I got that installed and also add the uv bulb system aswell which is insatlled into the handler on the inside . Tim is very knowledgeable about his work and the systems that i had installed he doesn't push you to buy anything its your choice to get the upgrades or not in this case it was my choice to upgrade the system so my family can be safe from any bacteria. Highly recommend and it's well worth the money, people are saying they are upselling, they are giving there professional advice. I'm glad I took it,saved me money in the long term. Cory, however found out that the AC did not need to be clean but rather it was mold that he found out that we have;he also found out that the house didn’t have UV light. I explained to him that we are going to have an air quality test in our condo and wanted the ducts to be cleaned. This company was a huge disappointment. We made an appointment in March to have our air duct cleaning. I explained to him that we are going to have an air quality test in our condo and wanted the ducts to be cleaned. On our first appointment, technician explained that the ducts should be disinfected before cleaning and the charge would be $200. Disinfecting the air ducts in condo will insure a good quality air test the technician explained. On the first appointment, technician removed cover from air conditioner, sprayed some disinfectant mixture that smelled like oregano and lemon on the air conditioner coil. He put the cover back on the AC unit and was gone in 15 minutes. We had the air test done the next week and according to the test the mold spores were still high in comparison to the outside mold spore count. I called Air Mavericks back and wanted the air ducts cleaned. We had an appointment on Wednesday (April 6th) and Air Mavericks texted me that morning and said the technician had a fender bender (technician was ok) but could not make the appointment. I told the person on the phone that I understand your technician could not come today but can they come out before April 11th. This was allowing them 4 days to clean the air ducts before our next air quality test in the condo. They were very understanding and arranged a technician to come out on April 9th. I appreciated them rearranging their schedule and making my appointment a priority. On the second appointment, the technician was unable to do the job because the device could not attach to our ceiling vent because the ceiling vent was too low. Really ?! He could not attach the device to any wall vents for the cleaning. He also asked for a ladder. I said, I have one right here. I was confused. Why ask for a ladder then tell me my ceiling vent is too low to attach his pogo stick device to the vent ?! This was the same technician on the first appointment who disinfected our vents. I was very disappointed that the technician didn't tell me that he could not clean them on the first appointment when he had seen where the air ducts and vents were in our condo. Huge disappointment. He also said, the air conditioner coil needs to be cleaned but he could not do that because he was not licensed to do that. My husband spent the rest of his Saturday cleaning our the air duct coil on the AC unit. Disappointing ! Less

He did a walk around of our home and removed a couple of our filters and commented how clean they were as well as the supply airduct lines. He took photos and a video clip to show my wife and I.Joseph C. then went into our attic, removed the A/C blower motor and again commented on how clean everything was. He told my wife and I he could proceed to do the cleaning, but he said in his honest opinion it was not worth it as our supply lines so clean.I had to thank him for his honesty and took his advice to not proceed with the cleaning. He spent at least a half hour inspecting and told us he would not be charging us for his time.I advised him I would definitely recommend this company as I couldn't believe the honesty he displayed. He could have easily took our money and gone through the motions of blowing air throw the lines even though they didn't require it. YOU DON'T FIND SERVICEMEN LIKE THIS TOO OFTEN. Less

I'd recently looked at the coil setup. I saw filth and assumed the ducting system needed cleaning, too. I'd also looked at UV light installation. I subscribe to Consumer Reports, so called to get their take. I found that the kind of UV is important. The kind that flash are useless. It must be on for extended period to work. Further information revealed that many UV light systems are activated only when the blower is on, which compromises effectiveness of UV, because it interferes with needed continuity of exposure.After initially looking at air vents, Brandon said, "These could have been installed yesterday" - because they looked so clean - and the air intakes were nearly so. So he saw no reason to do duct cleaning.The coils did cleaning, so he cleaned and sanitized them and the entire air handler enclosure. He then went over it again to remove the residue left by the cleaning solution (citrus derived, BTW). I am familiar with citrus based cleaning products from using ZeroRez for carpet cleaning when we lived near Denver, CO. (I understand ZeroRez is now in Jacksonville.) The citrus derived cleaning solution resisted attracting dirt, keeping carpets cleaner, longer. So I was pleased that Air Mavericks uses citrus derived products.After confirming (observing) that the UV light operates continuously, I had it installed. While the Consumer Reports representative said bacteria and virus-bearing particles are mostly caught by the air filter, so the benefit may be small, I suspect Florida's humid climate is more conducive to growth of microorganisms, so I went ahead with UV light installation, anyway. It was obvious that since the old unit had been taken out and not replaced, some growth was starting. With my asthma, we felt it would be a worthwhile investment, especially since it can be transferred to a new system when necessary. I have autoimmune disorders and recently been diagnosed with chronic sinusitis and high mold levels. If you have allergies or chronic respiratory or sinus anything- HAVE YOUR AC CHECKED and the UV lights installed! I have been paying thousands to try to get to the bottom of my chronic health issues and I just solved it without a Dr, but with Air Mavericks. Josh, from Tampa Ducks just came out to clean our ducks he is wonderful , very friendly and professional if you need your ducks clean ask for him.
