He had our entire party up on the dance floor! His attention to detail made our entire wedding reception a night to remember. Harry would also frequently check in with my husband and I to make sure everything was exactly to our liking and that we were having a good time. He was very easily accessible via phone and email, he would confirm having received any correspondence from me promptly and kept me on track for information I needed to send his way.Words can't express how lovely our DJ the night of was. Phil charmed the pants off of the whole crowd, even the party poopers who wouldn't otherwise dance. He was attentive to my MANY requests (songs and housekeeping) and communicative with me throughout the night. He arrived early, dressed sharply, and was very perceptive to small details that really make a difference in the grand scheme of the night.The team transitioned smoothly to a last-minute venue change and time change. Harry was the best ! We hired get your groove on for a party at Gatsbys for guests with vastly different tastes in music and Harry worked his magic and was able to keep EVERYONE on the dance floor . He kept everyone happy and dancing and was able to read the room to know exactly what to play and when . Hired a DJ very last minute for our daughters first birthday and we were extremely fortunate Harry could accomodate us. He had great communication and follow through. Day of we had an amazing DJ. Harry met all our expectations throughout the planning process, even working with a type-A bride. He understood how much we cared about the wedding day timeline and logistics, so we had at least two check-ins leading up to the big day. During the wedding, Harry worked closely with our venue coordinator to ensure all activities ran smoothly and checked in with us to see if everything was alright. For instance, we had six toasts during the reception, so Harry staggered the toasts around the dinner service schedule so the speeches didn't feel too long. We used Harry and his team for my sisters sweet 16 on 7/27. They went above and beyond to make this night so memorable and were constantly checking in with us to see how everything was going. Our professional pictures came out amazing and the MC kept everyone up and dancing. Harry was amazing as the DJ. The open photo booth was also a huge hit. Our wedding was this past Friday, October 6. Choosing Harry was one of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding. Saying he is the nicest guy in the world is such an understatement. All I can say is WOW! Get your groove on entertainment was incredible!!! I had the pleasure to have harry as my dj for my daughters first birthday party and guests were raving about how great he was! The music was perfect for all ages, he entertained the kids the entire day. They had so much fun! They were on the dance floor the entire day. Harry also made sure I had nothing to worry about and checked in with me consistently throughout the party to see if I needed anything and if everything was ok. If I was missing anything he made sure to bring me back to capture the moment. I am blown away by how great he was. I will be using him for all my events going forward! The best!!

Get Your Groove On was recommended to us by a family member and we met with Harry the owner and immediately clicked with him. He was so easy to work with and we honestly just loved his enthusiasm and personality. The entire booking process was a piece of cake. We did DJ, MC, Zap Photographer, the photo montage and the entire planning and getting everything together was seamless. I got married at Saint Clements Castle, and Harry and team were More than willing to travel from Long Island to CT on a holiday weekend which was such a relief off the bat. I have to give them so much credit I got married outside in the pouring rain and literally they just made it work, they set up with I’m umbrellas and just made it happen. I still had the ceremony music and they didn’t complain at all just did it! Now for the wedding reception, this did not disappoint. Literally everyone was dancing the entire time, we’ve gotten so many compliments on the DJ and the music. The party just kept going. I have some tough family member to please but everyone from 21 to 84 was up and dancing. They kept everything going. My father and I did a softball catch halfway through our first dance and they just made the transition so fun and for everyone really involved. I will honestly recommend them to everyone from this day forward. You literally don’t need to look anywhere else, this is the team You want!

get your grove on is the best dj i’ve ever seen. my family booked them for my sweet 16 part last night and it was a night i’ll never forget. they communicated with me for months prior to the party asking for information and asking how i wanted everything to run to make sure it was perfectly the way i wanted. i had so many last minute changes on the morning of my party with music and my candle lighting and didn’t hear one complaint. i shot them a text and they fixed it right away and everything was perfect. they checked several times throughout the party to make sure me and my guests were happy. sixth down to earth people. not only did me and my friends enjoy the night but my family made comments several times about just how great the dj was. i had a photographer booked and 2 weeks before she cancelled on me, i texted harry asking if he knew any photographers and within 30 minutes of me sending the text he had found a photographer for me within my price range and the contract was ready to be signed. i am so grateful and blessed i got to share my night with get your grove on!
