I expressed that I didn’t want my nails thin when she shaped them and wanted her to keep them somewhat wide. But again she made them look smaller and thinner than what they were. 78 along with tip ($88) wasn’t worth it. I did not want to make anyone feel bad while over there and also wasn’t going to be rude. If I would have expressed my concern I’m not sure if it would have been addressed properly or if I would have been offered a refund. I left unsatisfied and frustrated. Less

My experience began with an employee by the name of Tiffany. She was tasked with my manicure. From interacting with her, Tiffany initially gave off a professional demeanor. This impression quickly changed when it was time to do my pedicure. My manicure was still in progress when Tiffany got up and started collecting my items. Confused, but mostly shocked, I watched as she just walked over the a pedicure station where Lee, another employee, was prepping for my pedicure. Noticing my confusion, Tiffany just gestured for me to come over. It was only after I sat down in the pedicure chair did I realize she was going to continue working on my manicure while Lee began my pedicure. My items were not given to me. They were placed in the pedicure chair next me. Tiffany proceed to blatantly disregard my items by sitting on them. I was not aware that she was sitting on my purse until after she’d completed my manicure. The manicure experience, after transition to the pedicure chair, was uncomfortable to say the least.Lee, the tech assigned to do my feet, was clearly new and incredibly nervous. I could feel his anxiety through my feet. His handling was rough and painful to the point that I had to say something or risk bruising. Lee had to be reminded by Tiffany to clip my nails on my left foot. I was not provided with lotion during my complimentary massage or after. Please note that I was not in anyway frustrated with Lee. I understood that he was learning. My frustration solely lies with Tiffany, who was supposed to be monitoring his progress and providing constructive criticism. It was after my manicure her behavior took a turn for the worse.Tiffany was oblivious to Lee’s anxiety. It was only after I voiced my discomfort did she pick up on it. Instead of giving words of encouragement or reassurance, Tiffany decided to mock Lee. She even went as far as to involve another employee in mocking him. The teasing exacerbated his anxiety which increased my discomfort. Tiffany then decided to whip out her phone. It was in this moment I became even more upset and humiliated.Tiffany tried to inconspicuously take a photo of my feet. Her attempt to be inconspicuous failed because I noticed immediately. The fact that she was zooming in raised my suspicion. My suspicions were confirmed once Tiffany took the photo. She immediately readjusted her position and started typing rapidly on her phone. As soon as she was done sending the photo, she looked up and at her fellow coworkers. Both of the other coworkers looked down at their phone and then immediately looked up at me. They quickly looked away when they saw that I was watching.I WILL NEVER return to this establishment. Embarrassed, humiliated, and upset does not begin to express how I felt in that moment. I came here to have a relaxing experience, not be a source of entertainment for Tiffany or her coworkers. Tiffany was grossly unprofessional and I am strongly considering filing a complaint with the board of cosmetology. If Egyptian Nail and Spa choosing to employ individuals who blatantly disregard a customer’s right to privacy, then they should not continue business operations. Less

We walked out! We were told 30 mins, as we were a walk-in. We sat for over 40 mins. They do not have a system set up for walk-ins vs appointments. They just kept looking over us even though we had been there. The customers did not even have a specific tech they were seeing. When asked who was next the salon receptionist would skip right over us and kept pointing to others who just walked in due t... More
