I was a customer of this office for nearly 20 years. Over time, my insurance premium increased to over $1,000 per month, so I obtained several comparable (“apples to apples”) quotes. Four other providers came in at more than 50% less, so I canceled my policy and moved on without issue.Recently, I received a text from a collection agency stating I owed $92. I paid the balance immediately; however, I was never provided a bill from Allstate prior to the account being sent to collections. I would have appreciated the opportunity to resolve the balance before it reached that point. Given my long history as a customer, this was a disappointing way to handle a relatively small outstanding amount.
