So glad this place popped up in Hayward. It's the only kids salon in the area, that caters to kids of all ages and provides girls with the full salon experience. My daughters only request was to keep her length -Carrie did a great job and was so sweet. Every staff member was genuinely kind. So pleased, we've found our new salon!

Today was our second visit to Sharkey’s Cuts for Kids in Hayward with Eddie, and once again, it was a fantastic experience!After watching all the World Cup soccer games, my grandson was determined to get a soccer player-inspired haircut. We asked Eddie if he could create a clean design line and give him a Messi-style look. Eddie was incredibly patient, listened carefully to what we wanted, and delivered exactly the haircut my grandson had envisioned. It definitely made one little soccer fan very happy!To keep the look fresh, we even signed up for their membership so we can come in regularly and keep that line looking crisp.We’re so glad Sharkey’s opened in Hayward. My grandson had a great time playing Xbox during his haircut with the balloon, and lollipop being the perfect finishing touches. Highly recommend!

What a wonderful experience for both my sons! We took our 6 and 10-year-old to Sharkey's Cuts for Kids, and they had an absolute blast. The hairstylist was incredibly friendly, patient, and accommodating. She checked in with me about style and length preferences, and was always gentle and reassuring with the boys, especially when using the electric clippers and brushes. They were never uncomfortable.The staff at the front desk was equally welcoming, and the atmosphere is perfectly designed for kids. The Xbox and TV cartoons kept both boys entertained throughout. While one was getting his hair cut, the other was happily occupied in the gaming chair. They also have snacks available for purchase if your kids want a treat.If you have kids who get squirmy during haircuts, this is the place. The combination of friendly staff, engaging entertainment, colorful fun decor, and genuine care for the kids' comfort made all the difference. We'll definitely be back!

Great experience!I brought my 2.5 y/o in to correct a failed attempt at a home cut. We got VIP treatment! An amazing cut, wash, conditioner, blowdry, clips, and painted nails made for a real treat. Big brother got to play with toys while we waited and got a balloon and lolipop even though we didn't get him a cut.We'll be coming back for sure! So glad we don't have to travel from Hayward to the Dublin location.

We had a great first experience bringing our 16-month-old son here for a haircut. The studio is spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed for young children, with plenty of kid-friendly features like car seats, toys, TV screens, large mirrors, and other setups that help keep little ones engaged and comfortable.A special shoutout to Eddie, who was incredibly patient and gentle with our son. He kept a calm, soft voice throughout the appointment, offered lots of encouragement, and handled things wonderfully even when our little one started getting upset and crying a bit toward the end. We never felt rushed, and it was clear that he has a lot of experience working with toddlers.Most importantly, we loved the haircut our son received. We’ll definitely be back for his next trim!

First time coming to the Sharkey's on Industrial and we're so glad a location opened up closer to our neighborhood. Sandra was professional, polite, and excellent with our child. Came in for my daughter's first haircut and the whole experience was amazing. They made sure my daughter was comfortable and didnt make a fuss when she would fidget around.They have a TV in every station for cartoonsAnd plenty of toys for them to play with.And on top of everything they give first haircut certificates that come with a printed before and after picture.Definitely will be returning.

I am so happy there is a new haircut place in town. Took my boys and they had a positive experience. The tv volume was just right for my kiddo who’s on the spectrum. The haircut was thorough and clean. The boys look great. Thank you for this warm haircutting experience.
