We had such a wonderful experience at Sharkey Hayward! ❤️ It’s a newly opened, locally owned business, and the salon is so fun and welcoming for kids. My daughter loved getting her haircut in the cute car chair!The owner was so nice and welcoming, and the hairdresser (Sandra) who took care of my daughter was absolutely sweet, patient, and very detailed. She checked in with both me and my daughter throughout the haircut, which made the whole experience feel very comfortable and personalized.The manicure after her haircut was such a cute surprise, and she even got to choose a little ring afterward! 💅💍 They also gave her lots of fun treats after the service, including a balloon and lollipop. 🎈🍭It was more than just a haircut—it was such a fun and memorable experience for my daughter. We’re so happy we found this locally owned business and will definitely be back! Highly recommend Sharkey Hayward for little ones. 💕

It was my daughter's first time getting a haircut and we loved it. Not only is the salon perfect for kids of all ages (toddlers and tweens) the staff is also amazingly friendly. My daughter has curly hair and I was able to schedule with a specialist. Her first haircut appointment included a certificate with a lock of her hair as well as a picture of a before and after. It was honestly so special.

Awesome place! So much fun! Like Disneyland! The cars actually turn on and wheels spin. There is a dress up corner and girls can get their nails painted. There are shows to watch and games to play. Kids were enjoying themselves -almost forgot they were getting their hair done. Girls got glitter and hair tinsel, and my son got a design shaved in. Carrie, Sandra, Eduardo, and Jaidyn were very friendly and accommodating. We will be back!

The two hair stylists (I'm so sorry I forgot your names!) were absolutely wonderful—so warm, patient, friendly, flexible, and genuinely caring.They paid attention to every detail and took their time to make sure our daughter felt comfortable throughout the entire appointment. We never felt rushed, and they made the experience fun and stress-free for both our daughter and us as parents.The salon is beautiful, and it's hard to believe this location only opened a few months ago. We couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate such a special family memory. So glad this place popped up in Hayward. It's the only kids salon in the area, that caters to kids of all ages and provides girls with the full salon experience. My daughters only request was to keep her length -Carrie did a great job and was so sweet. Every staff member was genuinely kind. So pleased, we've found our new salon!

Today was our second visit to Sharkey’s Cuts for Kids in Hayward with Eddie, and once again, it was a fantastic experience!After watching all the World Cup soccer games, my grandson was determined to get a soccer player-inspired haircut. We asked Eddie if he could create a clean design line and give him a Messi-style look. Eddie was incredibly patient, listened carefully to what we wanted, and delivered exactly the haircut my grandson had envisioned. It definitely made one little soccer fan very happy!To keep the look fresh, we even signed up for their membership so we can come in regularly and keep that line looking crisp.We’re so glad Sharkey’s opened in Hayward. My grandson had a great time playing Xbox during his haircut with the balloon, and lollipop being the perfect finishing touches. Highly recommend!

What a wonderful experience for both my sons! We took our 6 and 10-year-old to Sharkey's Cuts for Kids, and they had an absolute blast. The hairstylist was incredibly friendly, patient, and accommodating. She checked in with me about style and length preferences, and was always gentle and reassuring with the boys, especially when using the electric clippers and brushes. They were never uncomfortable.The staff at the front desk was equally welcoming, and the atmosphere is perfectly designed for kids. The Xbox and TV cartoons kept both boys entertained throughout. While one was getting his hair cut, the other was happily occupied in the gaming chair. They also have snacks available for purchase if your kids want a treat.If you have kids who get squirmy during haircuts, this is the place. The combination of friendly staff, engaging entertainment, colorful fun decor, and genuine care for the kids' comfort made all the difference. We'll definitely be back!

Great experience!I brought my 2.5 y/o in to correct a failed attempt at a home cut. We got VIP treatment! An amazing cut, wash, conditioner, blowdry, clips, and painted nails made for a real treat. Big brother got to play with toys while we waited and got a balloon and lolipop even though we didn't get him a cut.We'll be coming back for sure! So glad we don't have to travel from Hayward to the Dublin location.
