Bobby is helping me out to address a scoliosis which started at puberty. I was always told that swimming, pilates, yoga and doing weight lifting would help my scoliosis which actually worsened year after year, eventually reaching 62 degrees. People need to understand that we all become dysfunctional with age, trauma ( emotional or/and physical) and our inherited genetics. I have only been working 11 months but I have noticed a better general body alignment ( knee, hip, glutes, scapula as all get shifted once you have a dysfunctional starting point) and engagement and my back is hardly noticed by people while doing much less and more effective movements. He is applying Functional Patterns biomechanics principles patented in the US but as we are all unique he had to adapt to my body response and he has the capacity to put himself in my shoes or my scoliosis I should say.Scoliosis or not we should all go back to break down our biomechanics at some point as it will allow us to better function not only on the physical plan but emotionally. This is as our spine is connected to all our muscles and underlying organs via the vagus nerves so it allows a better flight and fight response and general health improvements.I am myself an Integrative Nutritionist and did speciality in Gut, Hormonal and Detoxification specialties and retrained as a Massage Therapist and Reflexologist but FP and Bobby skills were the missing piece.
