I was in the market for an insulated patio roof and contacted four companies for quotes. Bobby came to my home and met with me in my backyard, where he provided professional advice and thoughtful suggestions regarding my patio project. He thoroughly explained the materials his company uses and clearly outlined the advantages of those materials compared to what some other installers offer.During our discussion, Bobby walked me through different layout options. Ultimately, we decided on a full screen enclosure, which was only slightly more expensive than the simple patio roof I originally thought I wanted. I sincerely appreciated that guidance. Having recently completed a full kitchen, master bathroom, and flooring remodel, I can say that finding a contractor willing to take the time to meet, explain, and walk through the process is not easy. Bobby was patient, informative, and extremely helpful. He also explained legal aspects of construction that I was unfamiliar with, which proved valuable in making informed decisions about my project.Once construction began, the crew showed up as scheduled and performed excellent work. This may not matter to everyone, but it certainly mattered to me: the workers were professional, clean-cut, and hardworking. They conducted themselves in a way that made me feel comfortable having them at my home. Anyone who has completed construction projects understands how important that peace of mind can be.The finished screen porch exceeded my expectations. It was completed correctly the first time with no issues—no scratches, scuffs, loose screening, or defects. The quality was evident immediately. Beyond the materials themselves, Bobby appears to engineer his projects with added durability in mind. For example, larger beams and posts were used, along with reinforced roof trusses. These details reflect a focus on strength and long-term performance.Of the four quotes I received, Bobby’s company was on the lower end—second lowest overall. I paid approximately $2,000 more than the cheapest bid. However, price was not the deciding factor for me. I chose his company because he took the time to educate me, help design the porch I truly wanted, and earned my trust through his professionalism and approach.The company is also highly rated with the Better Business Bureau, which is how I initially found them.I have included photos, though they do not fully capture how impressive the porch looks in person. Please excuse the condition of the yard, as we recently experienced one of the hardest Florida freezes in a long time (February 2026).I highly recommend American Screen and Aluminum.

I highly recommend American Screen & Aluminum! We had a 40 year-old enclosure from the previous homeowner that was (finally) destroyed by the last hurricane. Bobby was quick to come assess it for an estimate (fair and competitive!) and was of great assistance with helping us get the replacement covered by insurance. His office manager Christina was very communicative and helpful throughout the whole process. We had pavers installed at the same time and they stayed in contact with our paver company and coordinated accordingly so that there wasn’t a huge time gap between demolition, paver install, then installation of new enclosure. The crew he has working for him was punctual, polite, and efficient. I truly can’t say enough good about this gem of a company!

My words are not going to do this awesome company justice! Bobby (and his terrific team) are top notch! I had several issues that needed repair, some of which were not caught by/nor repaired by the company that built my pool cage off an existing porch. I had awful leaking/flooding issues due to the cage not being braced properly, causing extreme bowing during heavy rain. The existing gutter should have been dealt with when the cage was built, instead they “built around it”. Bobby installed a new super gutter, an insulated roof and put in new supports. Not only is the rain actually staying in the gutter, the roof keeps the porch cooler and no leaking! It looks fantastic and I actually feel safe now sitting outside (I literally thought that the day would come where it would all fall down!). I cannot say enough to express my gratitude and thanks to this company. I will definitely be using them in the near future to finish repairing issues with the pool cage. Bobby came highly recommended, and I hope to pay it forward with mine.
