Black Briar Contracting KNOCKED IT OUT OF THE PARK!My wife and I were more than a little nervous about what amounted to a pretty sizeable renovation: kitchen, living room, dining room, stairs, bathrooms, and laundry room. After all, this was our beloved HOUSE, so we couldn't trust it into the hands of just anyone. No, we wanted it to be absolutely perfect, so we took our time shopping around for the contractor we could trust to do the job right.From the moment Simon took a look around our house, we both had a good feeling that he knew exactly what he was doing. Then we listened to his suggestions and advice on how to bring what we wanted to reality. One look at his estimate (easily 30% below others we received) and we knew it was a match made in renovation Heaven.Come the big day, work begins, and we're off the races! The renovations seemed to fly by, and before we knew it, we had a glorious, brand new kitchen, a gorgeous living and dining room, a stunning mantlepiece and fireplace, and countless other details that have taken our house to the next level.All throughout, it was a pleasure having Simon and co. in our home. I was very impressed with the work that Simon and his crew did on my home. I had installed a new gas fireplace and needed someone to build a wall around the fireplace with shelves and storage and also to put tile on the face of the fireplace. He designed the entire wall and I am so pleased with the results. Everyone who comes in now goes Wow! Great job.

Recently I had the good fortune to hire Black Briar Contracting to install new flooring throughout my entire home. There was an accident which necessitated the removal of all my floors. While I was working with Simon I was impressed with his knowledge of home renovations and I further contracted him to do my 2 bathrooms, my master bedroom with large walk-in closet and living room. He had outstanding ideas and suggestions that I would not have thought of and it improved my home and in many instances saved money on materials and labour. When the project was completed I was thrilled with the results. It was better than I imagined. There was one small problem with one door that was gradually closing and Simon came over immediately and it was fixed very quickly. Soon Simon and his team will return to redo my front porch and I look forward to the adventure. I can highly recommend Black Briar Contracting for any renovation project you have in mind.

Blank briar did a renovation for my new place. It was the whole first floor including removing a load bearing wall. The renovation was completed in a timely manner and the estimate was quite accurate. All materials used on renovation was of high quality and any additional unforeseeable cost such as electrical lines and adding a new beam in the basement were communicates quickly with great recommendations. It was a pleasure working with the workers who were professional and kind. On any future requirements, I'd definitely work with them again.

They did a great job on our double garage build, good communication and fair pricing. We had a couple issues with the vinyl siding moving/shifting after a few hot days and they came out right away to get it fixed up. Would recommend giving Black Briar a call
