Gary helped us get a loan for our apartment when others couldn’t! The bank originally told us we wouldn’t be able to get enough of a loan, while another mortgage agent tried twice and failed, but Gary got us over the line and arranged our First Home Owners Grant. He also took time to drive out and meet me in person. Definitely recommend contacting him if you’re in the market for a new home.

Gary was recommended to me by the sales agent of the land I bought, and I'm glad he's the one who helped me get through all the way to settlement. My case was a little bit of a work as I am a single first home buyer, aiming to obtain the FHOG and the land does not register until 3 months after contract signing. Rather than myself going to multiple banks getting my credit/borrowing power assessed, Gary helped with narrowing it down to specific banks that will for sure get me a home loan with low interest & repayment, and better deals within my purchasing budget and income. He coached me what to do for 8 weeks to increase my borrowing power. Gary also helped me with my FHOG application and other applications required to get a formal approval from the bank before the land registers. He was very accommodating, efficient and clear when requesting for information, made sure these were requested from me plenty of days before it's due as he understands I work full-time and could be busy. He even went out of his way once by coming to me rather than me going to see him, just so we can get some paperworks going (as I was extremely busy that I didn't get the time to have these done alone). That's how you know he's a very understanding broker and that he will adjust to his client's schedules in crucial times.He did most of the work in background, few days to couple of weeks not hearing much from him, but the next thing I know, I have a formal approval! Gary made it hassle free for me, I didn't have to worry much about loan applications after work, and he did an amazing job working through things before due date. I thought with my income and savings, there's no chance I can get a loan, but I did get a loan and even higher than what I was expecting to get! All thanks to Gary making sure I tick all the lender's boxes.The timing was impeccable as within a week after formal approval, loan documents were quickly processed, Gary helped me out to meet other conditions required by the loan, even the ones I wasn't sure of - he explained them to me and he attended to them! Settlement date was then booked and Gary made sure my FHOG application was approved in time (which Gary also took care of - as i wasn't sure of the process, but he assured me all was under control). As I purchased off-the-plan, even after settlement, Gary is still helping me out with some things I don't understand that relates to the bank.With my schedule, I actually can't imagine completing the applications and submitting these all by myself. He was very patient with me, made sure that we reach the end goal within the contract date. Honestly I am surprised how much was completed in the background by Gary with only few exchanged emails and questions asked by him. He managed to gather details efficiently and work through them.Gary definitely made my journey less scary and stressful! My experience was definitely better than I expected it to be working with a broker. I would recommend him to my friends, colleagues and family if they ever need a broker who is trustworthy, great at their job, patient, accommodating, and very knowledgable in the industry with a long term experience.
