I want to thank all the amazing, dedicated staff and community at BeMore for facilitating my journey in achieving my fitness goals! I now have a genuine enjoyment for exercise (a shock to those who know me best and myself), and I am happier and calmer. I used to be fixated on numbers, i.e., weight and measurements, but I have realised that it's more than that! When I look back to my before and after pictures, I'm astonished to see how much my body shape has changed!!! So although I weigh almost exactly the same as I did when I joined a year ago, I look and feel different and i have lost inches, not muscle mass! So I wanted to say a heartfelt thank you to BeMore for getting me here and to those who are feeling disengaged or demotivated because you aren't where you thought you would be after 1 month, 1 year or 3, you will get there...just keep going. They have the best instructors, Carlie, Nat, Kayley and Blue are all unique and have their own way of teaching but all are absolutely amazing, extremely knowledgeable and motivating! ( not to mention hilarious;) The classes keep me motivated and so far I’ve never cancelled a class without a reason beyond my control, I simply love going to them and feeling like I’ve really done something after. As somebody who has struggled for years to find a way of exercising that I enjoy and want to stick to Bemore has been life changing! For a start the trainers are amazing! The instructors were all great at ensuring the exercises were right for both my fitness level and the reduced mobility I had from the fall. I was nervous to start but soon found that not only is every single instructor supportive, encouraging and motivating but all of the members are too. It’s the friendliest gym I’ve ever been to and I quickly felt no trepidation about trying new classes. The trainers are all extremely knowledgeable but, just as importantly, they are not at all intimidating. One of the things I love is that they have a great memory for people and their abilities. They know when to push us harder because they know what we are capable of, showing great belief in our abilities even when we don’t share their faith. The ability to treat us all as individual even in large groups makes this the best gym I’ve ever attended. This was my first pregnancy and although I was so happy and excited about becoming a mum, I also felt anxious and nervous about how my body was going to change. The fear of loosing control of my sense of self was very real.I remember texting Carlie to let her know that I was expecting a baby. I got an instant text back explaining I was always welcome at Bemore; to listen to my body and just keep turning up to classes and trying my best. So that’s what I did.For the first 20 weeks I carried on attending all my normal classes (pilates, yoga, strength, cardio, box 360) four times a week. All the trainers were informed and were able to adapt exercises for me as needed. After my 20 week scan, following a suggestion from Carlie, I started attending smaller group personal training sessions at Bemore and continued to train four times a week. I attended my last class the day before my baby was born at 39 weeks. I didn’t even think that was going to be possible back in January, but with the support from the team at Bemore I felt able to keep going and I am so glad that I did.The knowledge I have gained over the last nine months has enabled me to not only understand the changes that were happening to my body, but also meant I felt in control of those changes. It wasn’t just about keeping the baby weight off. Although that was one of my goals, there was so much more to it than just the number on the scales. I learnt how to strengthen my pelvic floor and my abdominal muscles safely; raise my heart rate and improve my cardio whilst I was pregnant; strengthen my legs and my arms to aid my recovery after the birth and how to exercise around my growing bump. I always felt included in classes and most importantly I always felt safe and supported. Regularly exercising wasn’t just beneficial for me and my baby physically, it was hugely beneficial for my own mental health. Regardless of how I felt before each class, I always felt that rush of endorphins afterwards which kept me coming back for more.My son is now 3 weeks old and I feel fitter and stronger than I did 12 months ago. My body is still recovering from the birth. However, as soon as I have medical clearance I will be back at Bemore to start my postnatal fitness journey and I cant wait to get back to exercising regularly when it is safe for me to do so. Less

Be More has totally changed my perspective of exercise, it's no longer about exercising hard, eating little and no results. I never imagined I'd be having so much fun working out - I really look forward to my sessions, at the same time as seeing great results and that's all thanks to Be More. Within 10 weeks I'd shed 7 inches and felt stronger than I ever have. It's not just my muscles are so much stronger, my mind is too. The manager (Carlie) and trainers (Carlie, Nat, Amber, Blue and others) are just fantastic and know exactly how to get the best out of you, whatever your fitness levels. The variety of classes during the week are fantastic – and although everyone has different abilities, there is no judgement, just support and encouragement (and quite a lot of laughs too!). I’ve started to try classes that I never thought I would enjoy – boxing, weight lifting and I am loving them! Bemore is the gym for people who don’t like gyms! There are plenty of daily classes that are never too full and the fitness instructors are personable and very professional. I have never been a fan of Pilates but Lexi makes it fun, interesting achievable and with her knowledge as an Oestopath she will let you know about moves that are good for injuries or back issues. She has an amazing positive energy and I feel great after her sessions. The GPT sessions are led by friendly, positive and encouraging trainers. Again they tune your sessions to your ability, what you want to achieve and are mindful to any injury’s or joint / back problems. I was very nervous about getting back into a gym and found the welcoming community and coaches extremely supportive! I soon felt at home and have taken part in a second six week challenge since. The level of care and attention from the coaches is phenomenal and has really helped me to improve my fitness, change my body shape and love working out again. I have recently started a PT membership, which I highly recommend. I work 1:1 with Carlie who is very invested in my health and lifestyle goals. I first entered the doors of Bemore very nervously in August 2021. It took me ages to pluck up the courage to check it out and I roped in a friend along with me. I initially signed up for a 4 week trial and was really impressed with the variety of classes and with how friendly and encouraging the instructors and other members were, so I followed up the 4 week trial with a 6 week membership which included GPT classes which are small group sessions of up to 6 people. I really loved it and found that I got a lot out of these smaller strength based classes. I have a very sedentary job so do not have much upper body strength and it was amazing to see progress with my strength within that 6 weeks so I signed up for a GPT membership after the 6 weeks finished. I have been a member of a lot of gyms and have always felt like a number whereas at Bemore you feel like everyone wants you to succeed and to achieve your goals. It is also great for women to go somewhere where they can learn to lift weights properly - a lot of gyms seem to offer body pump type classes but at Bemore you will find yourself flipping an 80kg doughnut! It is such a positive environment and I am thankful it has opened nearby. Less

I went to another gym on a friends guest pass the other day. As fancy and upmarket as that gym was, they have NOTHING on Bemore! It felt so corporate and clinical and definitely didn't have the same vibe as Bemore Studio does! I therefore started doing the GPT classes which helped me gain so much confidence and in three weeks I gained 2lbs in weight and 3lbs in muscle! For me this was such an achievement in such a short space of time and I couldn’t have done it without the help of Carlie and her team at Bemore. How my hormones were doing!! Some that I have never seen, one affectionately called a baby rattle by Carlie (for your abs) and an octagon rig that I have only ever seen in one high end gym in the city and I have been a member of many. I have spent some time alongside others (socially distanced of course) suspended from this piece of equipment and performing various other exercises that work your whole body. Having spent years doing pre formatted classes Bemore is a breath of fresh air and for those that want something different and inventive this is the only place locally and in the surrounding areas that you will get this and more. Not only are Carlie and the other instructors top of their game, they motivate and encourage you whatever your level is. The classes are small in keeping with covid guidelines and there is a wide range of varied classes at times to suit everyone. In just over 3 weeks I have become part of the Bemore Cheam community. Bemore studio is a very friendly environment that goes above and beyond to make you achieve the results you desire, they also accommodate my shoulder injury with specific exercises, which I rarely found in the past. Carlie who is an owner and also instructor provides every person such an amazing support, making every class as affective as it could be for everyone (beginner or more advanced skills). I haven’t done much exercises recently and it wasn’t easy for me to start again, but thanks to her I’ve got my motivation back. There are different verity of classes you can chose from. My favourites are Ride and Core (cycling), Combat Fix (Boxing), HIIT, Zumba, Yoga, honestly I love them all! One more nice thing is that this studio is new, very nice and modern design, clean rooms and all of the anti-covid measures are in place. Less

Yesterday's Insanity class was brilliant. It was hard, but good and I liked the option of not having to do all the jumpy moves as my knees are iffy. Sinead was enthusiastic and she kept me going through the class.... More
