I had laparoscopic surgery with Dr. Orane Thomas four weeks ago to remove approximately 40% of my colon, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the care I received. Dr. Thomas did an exceptional job. My recovery exceeded my expectations, and by the end of week three, I was already feeling fully healed.Throughout the entire process, he was incredibly responsive, patient, and reassuring whenever I had questions or concerns. I had severe abdominal pain that I had to go to A&E one early morning in 2024. I was seen and treated. After discharge from Accident and Emergency, followed up with Dr. Thomas and did necessary investigations and was diagnosed with gallstone. I was scared to do surgery, but with Dr. Thomas patient centered care reassured me and allowed me to remain relax. I thought I would have needed to stay in hospital after surgery, however since it was a laporoscopic gallbladder removal that was successful I was allowed home the same day. After surgery the follow up consultations were great. With Dr. Thomas help I was able to attend my son's graduation and has been pain free for 2 years since the surgery. I am no longer worried about that terrible pain reoccurring I once had that sent be to hospital !! Thank you Dr. Thomas for your help.

I’ve been struggling with gallstones/gallbladder pain for years and couldn’t get the issue resolved until I found dr_odthamas , through a mutual friend and went in for my consultant and he explained everything and showed me what would be done, so he did a Laparoscopy and it’s was a great experience little to no pain. The entire crew was great, they treated me well and the hospitality was amazing. Not saying that I must continue eating bad but I no longer feel pain whenever I try greasy foods 😏 thanks Doc

Dr. O.D. Thomas is an amazing, world class surgeon with an excellent bedside manner and patient communication skills. Dr. Thomas and his team performed laparoscopic surgery for my ruptured appendix, which had ruptured at least 12 hours prior, the symptoms having been misdiagnosed as GERD.I was of course apprehensive, given the gravity of my situation. Dr. Thomas explained clearly the pros and cons of the planned surgery and all possible outcomes and contingencies. He was absolutely fantastic post-surgery: highly responsive to all my queries and fears. My recovery was rapid and I am now almost one year post-op. I credit him with saving my life.I hope never to need surgery again, but if I do, he is definitely my surgeon of choice and I wholeheartedly recommend him.
