Max has just completed the 1-2-1 Introduction to Grooming Package (following a complete shave off under general anaesthetic) and I am so impressed with Victoria for the work she has done with Max and the tailored support she has offered him (and me) throughout the programme. I was so relieved and happy to see Max standing there quite happily whilst Victoria used the clippers on him...it made my week!

Our Cocker Spaniel Georgie had some bad experiences when she was younger with other groomers which left her very apprehensive and nervous to be handled. We are so glad that we found Victoria at Happy Henry’s because the difference in Georgie’’s confidence and demeanour over the last six months is absolutely huge. Victoria has patiently worked at Georgie’s pace to build her trust and it is starting to pay dividends now. Well Victoria thanks to you and your continual support and advice I have gained such confidence and understanding with my dog Rosie.Rosie is a happy dog in our household and because I have realised at last yes, that I need to be consistent in working with her, she now responds to me instantly. Your patience with me has been enduring so I thank you for enabling me to gain these skills. I value the fact that I can keep my dog and others safe now and actually enjoy having fun with her.I appreciate that any questions I have you guide me to sites to gain knowledge or do some research for me.I look forward to continue working with you to progress with new skills in Rosies development and my confidence in abilities. We have visited Victoria twice now for help with our little cockapoo. She has been an absolute inspiration helping us to understand Fred’s needs and engaging him in a way that will eventually help him to be groomed stress free. We have the tools now to work with Fred at home and with his groomer. I’m sure we will visit Victoria again once we’ve jumped this hurdle. Such a knowledge and patient lady, would highly recommend.

Are you a groomer struggling with one particular dog who for one reason or another is now struggling with the grooming process?As a one on one dog groomer we occasionally hit a brick wall when a dog is struggling with the grooming process, this can be for a number of reasons but in my situation a had a dog that had a few traumatic events at the vets which then led to growling at the groomers when being touched in the same areas. I was at a loss as this had never been the case with this dog, id groomed him since he was a puppy.Victoria has been a friend for many years we met at an event taking the grrrr out of grooming. I knew Victoria helped dogs who struggle with the grooming process so I turned to her for help.I referred my client to Victoria who did a few sessions with them but them once Victoria was happy she was seeing improvements she referred the client back to me to continue the work that the client and Victoria had carried out. Whilst the client continued Victoria's work at home, Victoria provided clear advice, video instructions as well as verbal instructions on how to continue her work whilst I was re~introducing my clients dog back to the grooming process.I have to say I struggled at times but Victoria was always on hand to guide me through it positively.A few months later, the sucess of this process has shone through, im now able to do rough clip offs as well as bathing.. we take it slow and split the grooming session over a few appointments but it works. The dog and client is happy and thats everything that we asked for.A huge thank you to Victoria owner of Happy Henry’s and to the client for putting her trust into the process Victoria taught them, it was well worth the time and invested.Any grooms out there struggling with a particular dog i would highly recommend you reaching out to Victoria at Happy Henry’s.

Victoria was wonderful with my two anxious dogs and bonded with them so well. They were calm and relaxed in her presence and really helped me with advice and understanding of their grooming needs.
